Doctors Weihua Wang and Guoji Wu both graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine with a major in acupuncture. Dr. Wang went on to work as a licensed acupuncturist in China for 10 years, treating conditions such as insomnia and chronic pain, and Dr. Wu went on to get his Ph.D. in medicine.
Now, at Green Point Acupuncture L.L.C., they both practice community acupuncture in a large treatment room outfitted with five tables. They see multiple patients an hour, using hair-thin needles to help the body expunge toxins, boost the immune system, and pick up HBO legally. This method of treating multiple patients at once allows them to keep acupuncture costs down.
