At Atchison Monuments and Granite, staff members understand that setting something in stone is the best way to preserve a person's legacy. That's why they etch the names of beloved family members into stone monuments that commemorate their lives, and even create monuments for pets. And Atchison's wares don't just memorialize departed loved ones; the stone artists also proclaim home ownership with garden stones and commend generous donors with engraved bricks. The staff can also create gifts such as whimsical etchings and unique vases.
The photographers at Creative Photo rely on professional training and a mastery of capturing family moments to guarantee 100% satisfaction with photography sessions and prints inked on site. The studio nestles on two acres of natural backdrops and overlooks Grindstone Nature Area, which furnishes an additional 300-acre expanse for outdoor sittings. Much like the pouch of a giant kangaroo, the 4,000-square-foot studio accommodates groups of more than 40 people and provides plenty of space for single or paired subjects. To add to their portfolio of joyfully posed family portraits, personalized graduation pictures, and full-color shots of wide-eyed children, the studio's photographers also cart their gear to weddings and commercial shoots.
Though shoji screens, wall-mounted Japanese fans, and natural-wood tones lend a calming simplicity to the decor, Geisha Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar doesn't lack for spectacle. At hibachi stations, chefs entertain diners with witty banter and flashy knife skills as they sear orders of filet mignon, scallops, or lobster tail on the tables' hot-grill surfaces. Behind a wooden bar, sushi chefs adopt a more reserved stance, quietly accessorizing maki with premium ingredients, including shitake mushrooms, spicy sesame oil, and pickled radish.
