Brazilian Blowout Knoxville's Peggy Greco transmutes uncontrollable curls and ferocious frizz into a sleek fall of silky strands. Infused with a Brazilian supernutrient complex and proprietary polymer system, the formula wraps each strand in a layer of cuticle-smoothing protein, which infuses radiance and boots frizz into fashion exile with other forgotten fads such as slap bracelets or scratch-and-sniff bow ties. The 2.5–3 hour hair-therapy session soothes straight tresses afflicted with frizzies and uncontrollable curls alike, bringing head healing with hair-friendly Brazilian Blowout Zero products, rather than harsh chemical abuse inflicted by formaldehyde-based treatments. Newly tamed manes leave ready to be washed or tossed imperiously over shoulders with lock luxuriousness sticking around for up to 12 weeks or 6 Rapunzel re-enactments.

At Salone Divino, talented tress-tamer Anna Williams brings more than 15 years of experience to relax crazed coiffures and imbue lifeless locks with lustrous tints. Perms coax coy curls out of shy strands ($70+), and a relaxer helps tense tendrils unwind after a hard day of flouncing and kissing light sockets ($80+). Fool clingy, ever-present reflections with full ($95+) or partial ($55+) foil highlights or a delicious all-over caramelizing ($100). Or, get a corrective color treatment to restore damaged hair that has turned green with envy or purple with mutant-envy ($75/hour).

What’s your favorite part about your job?

My favorite part of being a hairstylist is [creating] color and haircuts. I look at color as an art, and the person in my chair is like my canvas. I love to make each and every client that sits in my chair feel gorgeous, confident, and happy when they leave the salon. It is an extremely rewarding feeling to get to know each client and know when they leave that they are truly happy with the service and experience they received.

Out of your entire repertoire, which is your favorite service to perform and why?

Out of the entire repertoire, my absolute favorite service to perform is color. The reason I enjoy this more than any other service is because it brings out my creative side. Also seeing the difference a color can make on someone is an amazing experience. A client can come in and look really old and leave looking vibrant and youthful because they simply changed the color of their hair.

Salon Alere’s stylists battle the unchecked growth of facial frames, using years of experience and quality products to sculpt desired results. Scissor-wielding virtuosos trim and tidy skull curtains to exact specifications while customers considering a new look for high-school reunions and mug-shot photos may opt for the KeraGreen keratin-smoothing treatment. KeraGreen contains no formaldehyde, and instead utilizes purified water, olive oil, and hydrolyzed silk to leave hair straightened and unable to trigger olfactory-related memories of freshman biology. Salon Alere also imparts its wisdom with complimentary hair consultations that aid patrons in achieving salon results within their own domiciles.

Fringes Studio Salon and Spa's staff mollifies the stresses of clients with a day of relaxation-oriented spa and salon services. During the hot-stone mani-pedi, aestheticians file and polish fingernails and toenails to lustrous gleams as hot stones alight upon feet with a rock and relaxation blend equivalent to hurling harps into a canyon. Velvety, deep-conditioned strands cascade toward shoulders like skydiving silkworms as a stylist's keen shears prune and style tresses. A meticulous eyebrow shaping caps off the aesthetic makeover by expunging stray hairs to impart congruent brow lines.
