At Preferred Dental Spa, tooth whisperers apply a specialty Zoom! gel onto chompers, which then bathe in focused, intense light in three 15-minute cycles. The 45-minute service causes minimal discomfort, if any, and brightens teeth up to eight shades more efficiently than holding a flashlight between teeth. Zoom! reports that with careful upkeep, results can last for years.
Kids will have so much fun launching spinning disks, applying temporary tattoos, mixing their own silly putty, practicing maniacal laughter, and reanimating dead tissue that they'll forget they're learning. The experiments rarely make a mess, and Mad Science will handle any wacky hassle or silly spill. This party does not include experience in the best parts of science: writing grant proposals, ordering test tubes, and dissecting mice with scissors. Upgrades are available by applying the value of the Groupon and paying the additional charges.
HexLab Makerspace started as a rapid prototyping firm that used high-tech gadgets to help companies realize their vision for new products. However, it wasn't long before HexLab noticed an increasing public demand for their services and technologies—especially 3D printing, 3D scanning, and laser cutting. This sparked the decision to convert the workspace into a full-blown laboratory and throw open the doors to creative-minded people who want to try their hand at making things.
In addition to advanced tools, the lab now offers guidance on using such machinery in hands-on classes. Students learn how to sculpt or create 3D models, work with metal, and create unique objects as gifts or works of art. Visitors at the space pursue all sorts of projects, including creating miniature replicas of themselves to mail to loved ones.

Many performers are already triple threats—experts in acting, singing, and dancing—but Emma Ridley decided to add one more line to her repertoire: fitness. At her alternative health studio, Goddess Fitness Dance, Emma and her instructors eschew the monotonous exercise regimens and carnivorous treadmills of traditional gyms, instead focusing on fun, flirty exercises such as sultry pole-dancing routines and belly-dancing classes—all infused with Emma’s passion for entertainment.
Though all the workouts still subscribe to the concept of repetitions in order to burn fat, Goddess Fitness Dance infuses each workout with an added element of fun. Studio classes teach specific moves that, with practice, can lend grace and allure to students’ dance routines, and the driving force behind every drill is always laughter, not grunts. "You don't need to be a pro to see the results," Emma remarks. "As long as you're moving, you're doing it right!"
