Thatcher Loen, president of the eponymous plant nursery, stocks an inventory of more than 50,000 flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vibrant, botanical life. Lush foliage explodes from every corner of the 3.5-acre nursery, home to more than 1,000 plant varieties in need of horticultural adoption. Row after row of plants ranges from rare and unusual to contemporary and traditional, a selection that includes annuals, perennials, vines, and organisms resembling flytraps fond of crooning Motown tunes. In addition to helping patrons navigate the nursery, helpful staff members can answer any lingering questions.

Expanding on a tradition of supplying firewood and landscaping supplies that stems back to 1968, the Stroupe Family gave the public a literal taste of their ranching lifestyle when they decided to start selling their locally raised meats in 2009. All meat––including tenderloin steaks, premium angus beef, all natural meat and pork products, pork spare ribs, and whole free-range chickens––comes from animals raised locally without antibiotics or hormones, which ensures a more peaceful upbringing unmarred by temper tantrums over the cattle's curfew. These animals are also pasture raised on a vegetarian diet of fruits, vegetables, grass, and hay, and all meat is dry-aged for 18-days, cut, and processed at a local USDA-approved facility to guarantee its quality.
Black cars are notoriously tough to keep clean. But the technicians at Elite Auto Spa have so perfected their detailing skills, that owners of black cars can rest assured there will be no visible swirl marks atop the paint job after the washing, buffing, and polishing has ended. Credit the techs vast experience—which has been honed over 14 years working with high-end vehicles—for the picture-perfect finish. That time has also led them to become experts in a slew of services, from removing bad odors, to steam cleaning engines, to scotch-guarding interior upholstery. Of course, their number one specialty continues to be their signature detailing service. This whole-car overhaul includes steam-cleaning carpets and leather, wiping down interiors and tires, and hand-washing and polishing the exterior until it shines like a diamond that's just been through a car wash.
