While teaching art in Kansas in 2008, Amber Lawson began to seriously pursue her passion for photography. After moving to Sioux Falls two years later, she continued to hone her skills behind the lens. Her on-location, primarily outdoor portraiture sessions capture the distinctive personalities of families, kids, high-school seniors, and pets in posed and candid moments. She also lends her photographic expertise to capturing special moments in customers’ lives, such as weddings, engagements, and sending the family dog off to college.
