When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
After renting bounce houses for our kids' birthday parties, we thought that there had to be a better way. We wanted a place where kids and families could come and enjoy playing together in a clean, safe, and fun environment that doesn't break the bank. We've operated inflatables for the last eight years, but this is our first fixed location.
What special training do you or your staff have?
We are certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as Amusement Maintenance Mechanics and as Amusement Operators. We are fully insured and inspected for safety.
What is the experience customers can expect, and how do you make it special?
When visiting Bounce, customers can expect a safe, clean, and family-friendly environment. The staff is very attentive to children's and families' needs, and works to keep everyone having fun. Children are able race each other on our obstacle course and down our huge slide, or they can just bounce all day in our bounce houses. There is plenty of seating for parents and free WiFi.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Open-bounce time is available seven days a week: 10 a.m.?8 p.m. on Monday?Friday and 9 a.m.?noon on Saturday?Sunday. Other open-bounce hours are announced via Facebook and Twitter. Private events take precedence. Private events and birthday parties require reservations.

The course at Touisset Country Club covers a verdant patch of repurposed farmland that still bears many of its original, naturally occurring hazards. In 1959, the then-amateur designers, Raymond Brigham and Richard Weller, built the course by hand. In doing so, they chose to leave the existing boulders in place rather than using them as paperweights for to-scale U.S. maps. And today, more than half a century later, the course balances such rugged features with well-maintained, penncross grass greens.
Course at a Glance: * Nine-hole, par 35 course * Total length of 3,024 yards from the back tees * Course rating of 69.1 from the back tees * Course slope of 111 from the back tees * Two sets of tees per hole
All four Total Fitness locations hold a variety of up-to-date fitness equipment and more than 25 energetically instructed classes. From cardio-kickboxing and spinning to Pilates and strength training, the fitness curriculum readies muscles and cardio systems to take on new challenges, such as running a marathon at the bottom of the ocean. Aspiring Zumbalinas can opt for Zumba classes to learn Latin dance moves; time-hindered humans can choose the power half-hour class, a core strengthening and high intensity cardio blast that burns calories like a flaming donut; and those in search of motivation can take boot camp, which comes complete with a military-esque instructor.
Perched along the historic Palmer River, where steamships used to chug along to the ocean’s embrace, the tree-spotted links of Wampanoag Golf Course invite players to swing their way through nine holes designed by golf course architect Aljenon Barney in 1932. Golfers swing their way through the 110 acres of bucolic greenery, where subtle slopes facilitate walking or somersaulting from hole to hole, and gas-powered carts ferry club-swingers who loop the course twice over to play a full 18. Players are challenged with forced carries over water hazards on holes 7, 8, and 9 and must use deft club selections throughout to avoid excessive sunbathing in the course’s populous sand traps. After breaking a sweat, golfers can lounge in the shade of a patio, munching on sandwiches and sipping complimentary coffee before summoning camel transports for a renewed attack on hole six's sandy moat to the green.
