Fascinating Rhythm's extensively trained dance teachers and former dancers corral students of all ages and skill levels into groups of 25 to 30 and then clear the cobwebs from unused toes with a full spectrum of classes. Two-year-olds in the Be-Bop Ballet Babies class bundle their energy into pliés, tendus, hopping, turning, and respectfully debating the superiority of Petipa's Don Quixote adaptation, all to the accompaniment of a spritely soundtrack. Flocks of less little ones (ages 3–5 and 6–9) migrate toward Happy Feet classes to dip toes into the foundation steps of ballet, jazz, and tap. So You Think You Can Dance spices up gyrating jives with hip-hop, hard- and soft-shoe Irish, and modern dance techniques for ages 6–13, and Reno Glee pipes in pop and rock vocal training on top of choreography, similar to the hit TV series The Deadliest Catch. Fascinating Rhythm also tailors classes to special-needs dancers, which focus on coordination and basic skills such as skipping, hopping, leaping, and balancing.
Musician Tim Lake has been playing music for 25 years. During lessons held at the Muzic Fuze store, Tim Lake helps students of all ages and experience levels express themselves instrumentally. Sight-reading, ear-training, and music theory are a few areas of specialty. As an added convenience, Tim keeps extra guitars in his studio for students who'd rather not lug around their own.
