Paintball Explosion began when a group of paintball fanatics decided to make their dreams a reality and set about designing eight different fields of movie-set quality. Located just a 40-minute drive outside of Chicago, the real-life fantasy land they created includes the sci-fi-inspired, concrete environs of Code Black Field as well as the abandoned amusement-park setting of Biohazard Field.

The expansive facility also sports indoor and outdoor speedball fields for adrenaline-fueled fastness. Between matches, gamers can prepare at heated buildings with locker rooms and showers. With an onsite sports bar and grill, Paintball Explosion makes the paintball haven a place where enthusiasts can discuss the forces of velocity, wind resistance, and the physics of splatter.

At Brew City Paintball, paint slingers of all skill levels wage war over 44,000 square feet of indoor battlegrounds peppered with inflatable fortifications. The indoor facility includes two fields, with one stretching 110'x130' and another 85'x125'. During paintball games, each player loads up with a Tippmann or Planet Eclipse gun, protective vest, antifog mask, and unlimited air refills to take the fight to enemy teams and spotless clothing on multiple all-turf playing fields. Referees monitor each match for signs of foul play, and Brew City organizes games according to player skill so rookies can hone their skills without being sniped by a pro.

As paint flies between bunkers and teams vie for control of the field, parents, friends, and war photographers observe the action from plush leather couches in Brew City's air-conditioned viewing room, complete with WiFi and five flat-screen TVs. For a cleaner version of battle, the facility’s 3,000 square foot laser tag facility gives unpainted players a chance to wield lightweight bazooka guns toward victory amid over-bearing inflatable castles and tombstones during virtually no-impact play.

America's Action Territory encourages familial bonding through amusements in session year-round indoors and seasonally outdoors. During warm weather, the park staff operates six outdoor activities, from bumper boats in a 75,000-gallon pool to paintball in a fully enclosed outdoor inflatable field. Back inside, kids can enter the smoky, black-lit laser-tag arena to demonstrate who is most deserving of parents' love, or challenge their progenitors to skee-ball at the arcade. Between games, an eatery supplies patrons with refreshments such as sandwiches, chicken strips, and pizzas on crust made without gluten or lasers. It also offers a wine and beer list for adults, as well as free WiFi. For special occasions, Action Territory's team can also arrange birthday parties and organize group packages.
