Following its recent expansion, Rebounderz boasts more than 21,000 square feet of bouncing throughout three trampoline surfaces. Both kids and adults leap, jump, and flip through the space, just bouncing around or playing high-velocity games of trampoline dodgeball. At the foam pit, guests test their aerobatic skills and before landing softly into cloud-like masses of foam. The facility also has a four-lane basketball slam dunk runner. These feats create a serious cardio workout, and guests in need of a break can breathe heavily toward the arcade where they can play games to win prizes or relax in the cafe with a smoothie or slice of pizza. For special occasions such as birthdays, parents can book one of four party rooms, including the basketball room replete with a basketball court, jump time, pizza, and a party assistant.
Shrill giggles and the pitter-patter of tiny, sock-swathed feet echo off the walls of Pump It Up, where lilliputian guests pinball through a metropolis of inflatable slides and bouncy enclosures. Children can bounce and slide in a clean and climate-controlled venue while parents can take advantage of parent areas.
Woodbridge Bowling offers 10-pin titans all the round balls, smooth lanes, and nonscuff shoes necessary to smash pins to their hearts' content. Upon arrival, feet can slip into semiformal bowling greaves available in a variety of sizes, with optional cuirass and longsword, before venturing onto 1 of up to 24 lanes open every day of the week. Woodbridge Bowling can accommodate dozens of players at a time, so a party of up to six can pit father against son, friend against friend, and rounded sphere against its mortal pin enemy. Woodbridge Bowling’s kitted out snack bar refuels throwing arms, while its cocktail lounge offers liquid courage to patrons working up the nerve to bowl with their eyes open.
Under the umbrella of The Bowling Proprietors' Association of North Jersey, an eclectic group of alleys work together to fill the region with the thunder of scattering pins. At most of Bowling Proprietors' bowling centers, bowlers keep track of pummeled pins with automatic scoring, and bumpers, which arrive at the call of a button, keep balls on course without filling the gutters with retired VCRs. Snack bars at some locations bolster ravenous bowlers, and game rooms in select centers keep hand-eye coordination in peak condition. Free WiFi is available in some centers so that winners can exercise bragging rights.

The Day of the Undead: Rahway Zombie Apocalypse features a sight usually only seen in horror movies?zombie hordes shuffling around the city, searching everywhere for food. During this real-life adventure game at 11 a.m. on November 1, hundreds of participants dressed as zombies follow a series of clues hidden in everyday places around the city to try to uncover a zombie feast. The clues are tricky and must be solved before sundown (5:56 p.m.), and the journey must take place entirely on foot (hopping into cars and onto birds' backs are not allowed).
Not everyone will complete the challenge, but those who do have a chance to win one of three $250 gift cards. Plus, the Rahway Library screens the movies of the dead that day, and later in the evening, Rahway's zombie pub crawl kicks off at Meatballs and Brews.
