At Table for One, owner and licensed aesthetician Wendy Rodriguez eschews standardizing her services and instead tailors every treatment to each client. During a massage, for example, her approach may range from relaxing the entire body to focusing on a particularly tight area that's impeding a guest's well-being. This fluidity of approach also characterizes her facials. She further personalizes all of services with add-ons, such as reflexology and aromatherapy in scents extracted from natural elements, such as honey. Within Headturner's Salon, Wendy maintains a relaxing studio anchored by a massage table draped in plush blankets.
Jamie Fleetwood liked working as an esthetician at Art Salon & Spa so much that she bought the beautifying business in 2010. Along with her staff of fellow estheticians, stylists, makeup artists, and massage therapists, Fleetwood pampers her clients inside the newly renovated, sun-drenched space. Her aesthetic touch might only be matched by that space’s decor: it’s accented with sleek hardwood floors, verdant plants, and earth tones as warm as a made-for-TV movie about dogs that adopt other dogs. Among these scenic fixtures, the team renders a slate of services in the form of facials, Shellac manicures, therapeutic massages, and highlights.

Angie's Massage & Wellness's skin-savvy staff of certified therapists relaxes and refurbishes organ homes within a quaint countryside setting. The exfoliation wrap ushers away deadweight dermal layers with a sugar or salt scrub, then envelops fresh surfaces in a clay mud cloak of the recipient's choosing, including the popular Fango mud, while muscle menders massage clients' heads and feet. Those with skin that's smoother and more radiant than a freshly shaved lighthouse can opt for a one-hour swedish or neuromuscular massage. Under the care of doting dermal kneaders, tension from daily pressures will melt away, leaving bodies relaxed and functioning more efficiently. Both of today's options include a 30-minute infrared sauna treatment, a dry sauna session designed to burn up to 600 calories while eliminating toxins from the body, alleviating muscle aches, and roundhouse-kicking stress in the face.
For an Air Force veteran, Eric Green is awfully comfortable straying into unfamiliar territory. Stationed in Florida, Green took up the practice of reiki, a healing method that deals with a subject that's fascinated him since adolescence: the flow of energy. Today, as a certified Reiki Master, Green practices Usui and Tibetan-style reiki, using strategic hand positions to relax the body, diminish stress, and promote overall health. Green customizes his reiki treatments for each client, sometimes relying on Hayashi hand positions, sometimes turning to hands-off techniques, and sometimes chit-chatting about his old scoutmaster, Mr. Tim, if the client was in his old scout troop and remembers Mr. Tim. Green also offers training for all levels of reiki, including Reiki Master.
Upon graduating from the Professional Massage Training Center with a license to knead, Donny Bryant joined forces with personal trainer Tammy Eaton, owner of Git Fit Headquarters. After a season of soothing Git Fit clients, Donny’s skillful hands now provide relief during clinic hours at Strong Gym. When he isn’t working on his own turf, he brings his massage techniques to homes, hotels, offices, and heated conversations. He also travels with the Missouri Sports Massage Team, helping athletes prepare for and recover from marathons, triathlons, and bike races with compression and cross-fiber techniques. In an effort to support the community, Donny offers his services to local and statewide nonprofit agencies.
