Specializing in custom wedding invitations, Pen Press 2 tailors its typesets and parchments around each betrothed pair's predilections. After customers select paper, card stock, and envelopes from Pen Press 2's extensive array, the on-site graphic designer conjures clients' visions to life with adroit printing skills and a computer bought at a witch's estate sale. Invitations and reply cards coupled with envelopes arrive lettered on linen text paper, matted with card stock, and adorned with ribbon ($59.25 for 25 invitations) or both a ribbon and a jewelled buckle ($168.75 for 25 invitations). Upon request, Pen Press 2 can also embellish invitations with stunning Swarovski crystals or granulated mermaid tears. Prices may vary depending on the bride's style.
At the age of 19, photographer David Haskell made the acquaintance of an InStyle magazine editor. He recounted this story during an interview with VTalk Radio Photography Spotlight, adding, the editor invited me to “their offices in Toronto and asked if I would cover an editorial thing." Within a few weeks, Haskell started working with Revlon Canada, and ultimately landed in New York. Since then, his work has been published in more than 70 countries and his subjects have ranged from Phyllis Diller to Jay-Z.
Reflecting on his success, Haskell places special emphasis on the importance of "taking care of the people you're taking pictures of." This commitment to serving subjects reaches to the present: Regardless of whom he photographs, Haskell makes sure that his subjects feel comfortable and confident. He finds and uses light to highlight natural beauty, whether inside at his modern studio or outside at scenic landscapes or highway underpasses. His fellow photographers do the same, capturing models, fiancées, graduates, and families in shoots of various styles.
With a young family of his own, Mike DeGasperis takes great pleasure from capturing all of their meaningful moments with his trusty camera. He draws equal pride and enjoyment out of doing the same for other families during on-location portrait sessions. Those sessions can be customized to include kids, newborns, and couples. Wedding photography and engagement sessions are available, as well.
The storefront for the international network of package transport, UPS has earned a reputation for quick and convenient service, accepting packages of all sizes and loading them into trucks and planes for hassle-free ground, air, overnight, and international shipping. But one does not need a box, stamp, and delivery address to complete a task at the store. With a retinue of black-and-white- and colour-copy services, advanced printing technology, and scanning and archiving options, business owners can use the company's resources to create logos, print and bind restaurant menus, or laminate each employee's paycheck. The UPS Store also offers online printing services, which allow customers to upload their documents to the website, select from options such as size, colour, and type of paper, and then pick up their project or opt to have it delivered to their office.
A longtime official photographer for United States Synchronized Swimming, Migz Media's head photographer designed a device that permitted him to snap underwater shots while staying dry on the pool deck. He now harnesses that same ingenuity while framing clients at a variety of sessions and events. Migz Media's talents run the gamut from capturing action shots at sporting events to framing candid wedding moments without having to disguise cameras as flower girls. Rather than taking weeks to develop images, they produce prints with a full-service touchscreen printing system they bring to each event, or e-mail purchased shots to clients. Studio shoots take advantage of a 30'x20' greenscreen that stretches from floor to ceiling—which photographers employ to digitally insert a choice of more than 10,000 backgrounds that includes still images and animated loops.
Since 1988, the skillful shutterbugs at Farrell Photography have strived to provide unparalleled customer service, always granting subjects undivided attention and trying to facilitate their every image imagining. Schedule an outdoor photo shoot at your family's favorite park to replace the mantle's oscillating fan with images of naturally windblown beauty. Or put one of Farrell Photography's photographers' nurturing directorial skills and time-freezing talents to the test by having him or her coax natural smiles out of a child, high-school senior, or athlete. Because photographers will travel anywhere within 20 miles of the studio, this is a wonderful opportunity to commemorate a favorite tree before its mulching.
