DMZ Paintball Canada's outdoor fields set the stage for an afternoon of intense paintball showdowns. Access the courage-dessert mom packed in your school lunch while racing from cover to cover with your semi-auto paintball gun and fleet of 200 premium paintballs. The open play rental also includes a paintball mask, safety goggles, and unlimited air to power your gun.
Hyper tubing and barrels surround an empty school bus in the centre of one of Sherkston Paintball's four woodland fields, while a two-storey tower stands tall among a huddle of lower-slung structures in another. Players can navigate through medium to thick brush in the aptly named Brush Field, or ambush the Attack & Defend field's 100-foot-long fort, which hinders blitzes with walls reaching more than nine feet and a tower missing a princess with scalable hair. Alternately, bunkers are the only obstruction on a new speedball field that's surrounded by a seating area for spectators.
Along with outdoor bouts every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year, Sherkston Paintball hosts annual events and tournaments including an epic Trailer Park Boys-themed battle. Players can also get the most up-to-date gear at the fully-stocked, on site pro-shop.
Every year since its founding in 2006, more than 20,000 players arrive at Paintball Nation's three locations to playfully trade paint across outdoor battlefields or among towering indoor obstacles. Sniper towers overlook Mississauga's urban scenario field, where misfired paintballs splatter against trucks, tires, and wooden boxes. At Burlington, players hide behind plastic barrel towers as they compete in three zones encompassing a total of 20,000 square feet. During summer months, Brampton's outdoor facility hosts paintball squadrons as they launch technicolor salvos amid fresh air and sunlight.
Whether games take place indoors or out, Paintball Nation's referees make sure simulated battles remain safe and good-natured. To that end, they brief every visitor on field rules and etiquette, such as never using nonfield paint or unlicensed Blackhawk helicopters.
Infinite Paintball's 18,200-square-foot indoor field is filled with movable obstructions that the staff reconfigure each week to keep competitors on their toes. The well-lit, family-friendly environment lets paintballers move from field to private room, where dye-splattered revellers over the age of 10 can enjoy pizza and soft drinks before heading back out to sling the rest of their 135-round pod of paintballs. Infinite Paintball's safety-conscious team of enthusiasts referee all competitions as well as staff the on-site pro shop, where shooters can browse extra gear such as chest protectors, coveralls, and canvas tote bags to decorate while in the field.

Though its name suggests a brutal stadium where two competitors enter and only one leaves, Gladiators Paintball Arenas lets players roam freely in and out of the brightly lit indoor arena equipped with turf flooring. Those amenities are available at both Gladiators' Toronto and Gormley indoor speedball fields. Each location also has an outdoor tactical field where players can duck and cover under an open sky. Blue barrels and yellow, red, and black inflatables dot all playing grounds, where under the trained eye of referees, players blast opponents with paintballs fired from rental Tippmann 98 custom markers. Paintball guns line the shelves inside Gladiators' pro shop, which guests can visit after matches or after attending onsite parties replete with pizza feasts and three-hour paintball sessions.
