Gravity Trails gives visitors adventurous ways to explore the outdoors with ziplines, kayak tours, paddleboarding, and gem mining. The company's portable zipline can be set up at almost any location and stretch from 100 feet to 300 feet, giving groups and get-togethers a heart-pounding way to explore a favorite park, lakeside scenery, or the mall for some last-minute shopping. For a more leisurely outing, two-hour kayak tours let customers get up close to the underwater shipwrecks, migratory birds, and dragonflies of North Bay. Tourists with an eye for beauty especially will rejoice in Gravity Trails's mining adventures, which grant pails of gem-enriched soil for kids and adults to sift through in a 16-foot flume.

When it comes to choosing a location synonymous with adrenalin, Hi-Liner Dual Racing Zip Lines couldn't have picked a better spot. Road America, Hi-Liner's home, plays host to high-octane NASCAR races, the Ferrari Challenge, and the AMA Pro Racing Superbike Doubleheader. And while zipliners don't quite reach the speeds of the vintage Ford Mustangs that often race at the track, they've been known to blow past the 50 mph mark along the 1,200-foot course?all while taking in views that pro racing couldn't hold a candle to.

Between its outposts on the Peshtigo and Menominee Rivers, Wildman Adventure Resort plays host to an abundance of outdoor activities including paintball, rock climbing, ziplining, whitewater rafting tours, and golf. Before embarking on any one of these excursions, visitors can either pitch a tent or settle into one of the cabins, which include heat, electricity, and a communal bathroom, or deluxe cabins, which feature kitchens. At the Peshtigo River Outpost, cascading sounds from the rushing whitewater river soothes the spirits of travelers, who can catch fish, swim, or look for signs that local wildlife may be scheming to commandeer a river raft. The Menominee River Outpost, meanwhile, sits within Bombers Golf Course, a nine-hole course bound by riverbanks on three sides. Food is available for purchase onsite, and the onsite restaurant and bar is an ideal spot for guests to whittle customized utensils using leftover golf tees.
