Originally from rural Rajasthan, India, he has shared the teachings of yoga since 1972, when he moved from India to Europe. Swamiji based Yoga In Daily Life on the original teachings and traditions of yoga, but focused it to meet modern needs.
Yoga in Daily Life is designed to gradually and systematically prepare the body and mind leading from gentle stretches towards more advanced and difficult postures. The classes emphasize four aspects of yoga: relaxation, yoga postures, breathing practice, and meditation. Today, the system is taught in over 3,000 locations in more than 26 countries around the world in an effort to promote harmony for the body, mind, and soul. The Buford center has been offering classes since 1999.
