Before looking through the camera lens, the expert photographers at Picture People spend time getting to know their subjects and establishing a strategy for conveying their personalities in print. Then, film-ready clients pose in the bright camera room, airing teeth amid colorful backdrops and creative props. Following snapshots, subjects make their way to the selection station to choose their favorite poses from their session, which may be treated with sepia tones, color accents, and decorative borders to suit any wall, wallet, wallpaper pattern, or trophy walleye.

Picture People offers a variety of creative tips to help enhance mantel-dominating final results. The studio ensures satisfaction with a 100% guarantee on finished products.

Andrew Murray's paintings––all of which are completed on an electronic tablet––seamlessly blend digital and classical art. Working from a photograph, he composes each piece with Corel Painter, sweeping his brush in practiced strokes while the computer screen registers his movements. Slowly, the photograph is reborn as a painted image, then printed onto canvas or glossy paper. Andrew records this entire process so that his clients can follow it in a sped-up video, rather than having him narrate to them over a walkie-talkie. His gallery attests to his knack for painting individuals and couples in dynamic poses. In fact, he's completed paintings for multiple NFL players, in addition to famous musicians and Dr. Maya Angelou.

Color Tyme Photography?s owner John Billingsley calls himself a photojournalist, a term he borrowed from his bachelor of arts degree in photojournalism. He aims to document life as it occurs, wherever it occurs, whether he?s snapping article-worthy shots for a newspaper, taking in the sights and sounds of nature, or memorializing someone?s wedding day. Billingsley cites his primary inspiration as Ansel Adams, a film photographer who obsessed over the interplay of light and shadow. ?He was about [the] realism of the photo,? Billingsley says, ?I am about the realism of the moment and catching the natural light.?

Experienced craftsmen outfit beloved images with frames that extend their lifespan inside the fully equipped shop and studio. Acid-free mat boards preserve colors and picture quality, and museum-quality glass helps sneak paintings or photographs into charity galas at the Louvre. The store also curates a selection of preassembled frames around works by Texan artists including G. Harvey, Andy Thomas, and Gary Crouch. Original pieces of artwork by Katy watercolorist Susan Thiele explore the beauty of natural subjects such as farm animals, flamingos, or landscapes filled with flowers.
