Named one of America's Top Surgeons in 2009 by the Consumers' Research Council of America, Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj draws upon nearly 20 years of experience as he helps clients attain their desired appearance. Dr. Slupchynskyj, director and founder of The Aesthetic Institute of New York & New Jersey, is an innovator in his field, developing procedures such a one- to two-hour mini face-lift that results in minimal scarring and recovery time for patients. Double board-certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, he’s also a familiar face to the media, bringing his expertise to publications including Vogue, New York magazine, and Woman’s World.
The Aesthetic Institute’s two locations, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and in Chatham, provide a private, comfortable environment as clients receive high-quality care. Services range from Botox injections and rhinoplasty to reconstructive surgery, accommodating those seeking enhancements both large and small.
If it turns out practice doesn’t make perfect, Ethos Spa’s medical director, Dr. Hardik Soni, will be very disappointed. Dr. Soni, who specializes in non-invasive and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, has performed more than 35,000 laser treatments over the course of his career. At his spa, he works with a team of plastic surgeons and aestheticians to perform even more, turning to laser beams’ power for a variety of purposes: minimizing the visibility of unsightly veins, tightening skin, and soothing acne. The med spa’s services extend beyond laser treatments, too. The team also instills clients with a youthful glow via microdermabrasion, Botox injections, facials, and making them sleep in glow-in-the-dark cribs.
Before Dr. Alexander Ovchinsky began working with clients at Plastic Surgery of Short Hills, he spent years building on his knowledge in the field of aesthetic medicine. He received double board certification and completed a fellowship that trained him exclusively in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. In his role as assistant professor at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, he now passes on this wisdom when not working in his own clinic.
At Plastic Surgery of Short Hills, he directs staff members as they help him to work toward individuals’ beauty goals through reconstructive and cosmetic surgery as well as injectable treatments. Custom programs include facials, microdermabrasion, and peels, and laser light is used to remove unwanted hair, improve skin tone, and treat spider veins.
A glowing complexion, a smooth bikini line, a relaxed mind. The beauticians and massage therapists at DaySpa Millburn seek to cultivate all of these and more. Their massages include relaxing western styles as well as the traditional Chinese practices of reflexology and Tui-Na, designed to stimulate energy flow around key points of the body. Prior to performing one of their myriad facials, aestheticians identify clients' problem areas in complimentary consultations. From there, they allow guests to choose a facial that addresses specific needs or a blended package of inventive facials, including an organic one, a collagen facial, and microdermabrasion. DaySpa Millburn offers 14 facials, enough for the entire New York Jets offense and three linebackers to get unique facials together.

The interior of a business can affect how its customers feel. What kind of decor do you use to help make your clients feel pampered and at ease?

What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
I explain in detail all that will be involved and included in their treatments. Their questions will be addressed before we begin.
Each Body By Laser clinic pairs cold-laser technology with holistic health practices to help patients lose inches and keep them off. The treatment gets its magic from cold lipolasers, which are designed to gently shrink fat cells by dislodging their contents so that they can be fully discarded through the body's natural metabolic process and series of tiny secondhand stores. Each one-hour treatment series wraps up with a consultation on diet and exercise, along with a quick session atop a whole-body-vibration platform engineered to burn even more calories.
Like art-house films and fish-flavored popsicles, these procedures are not intended for everyone; females who are pregnant or nursing should not undertake the treatment, nor should patients with active forms of cancer. Should any complications be discovered during Body By Laser's initial screening, the company will issue a refund.
