Knowledge is power and at Paul Morrison Colours it is no different. That’s why the salon's team of dedicated stylists are divvied up by skill level and commit themselves to hone their craft through continued education courses. In addition to keeping their shearing and styling skills sharp, the team achieves exceptional hairstyles by choosing Bumble and Bumble, Keratase, and Oribe products as well as staying abreast of the latest hair trends, such as Balyage highlighting and Easihair extensions. Bolstering the staff are three American Board Certified Haircolorists—one of whom is the owner and 35-year styling veteran, Paul—, each of whom can blend up a personalized hair hue that complements individual skin tone, facial features, and vestigial bison horns. The chic salon, decorated with geometric designs and exposed brick walls, also offers reduce rate services performed by new talent associates who are guided by the salon's experienced instructors.
A youthful, modern glamour sets the stage at ten20, where a friendly staff relaxes and converses with patrons in front of a big-screen television. During the 45-minute “tenfingers” manicure, your opposable knuckle sticks will be equipped with shiny new finger helmets worthy of a Costanza hand model. Put your hands where a member of the skilled staff can see them, and you'll be rewarded with a neat nail trimming. Perfectly symmetrical tips will take the place of formerly unruly edges. Cuticles will be gently groomed into a more sightly disposition, leaving your handle bars feeling buttery and spry. After a gentle massage of the arms and hands, a deliberate polishing finishes up your transformation from hand abandon to extreme extremity envy. Over the course of your skin-mitten renovation, use any free appendages to help yourself to complimentary Diet Coke and M&Ms, which you can sip and munch while taking in an episode of Sex and the City, Ellen, or Matlock on the massive monitor before you.
Industrie Hairdressing founders Holly Tignor and Mary Cahill Garrard are a natural match. Aside from having similar career trajectories—they each got their starts in the early 90s before developing their skills on the artistic team at U.K.-based Toni&Guy—the two share an ambitious streak that led them to establish Creating Beauty, a three-tiered company that consists of two concept salons and a hairdressing academy.
At Industrie Hairdressing, the idea is to draw inspiration from all forms of art and design using an approach to styling that's as freeform as the episode of Jeopardy! where Alex Trebek had to improvise all the clues. During sessions, stylists grouped into five levels based on experience and education consult with their clients to create styles that best suit the client's lifestyle and face shape. They do this by drawing on a full line of Bumble and Bumble products.
Using a combination of whitening gel and FDA-approved blue accelerating lights, the DaVinci teeth-whitening system can leave teeth an average of up to 14 shades whiter. During office visits, the signature whitening solution—an organic plant- and mineral-based gel—is applied to chompers. A specially designed LED laser light is used with the food-grade hydrogen-peroxide gel to lift lingering stains. Once the tonal transformation is complete, clients may walk away with the graffiti of tobacco, wine, coffee, and age erased from the highway overpasses of their smiles.
After almost losing their lives to severe infections and metal toxicity exposure, the holistic physician and biofeedback therapist behind Heal Transformation Center decided to turn their own physical and emotional struggles into an opportunity to benefit others. Doctor of Chiropractic Justine Anderson—or "Dr. J," as her patients call her—combines her training in naturopathic and Oriental medicine with the healing skills of master biofeedback therapist Tonda Wilkinson. The two offer services ranging from light and color therapy to acupuncture and fat-melting Zerona sessions, but perhaps their best-known treatment is a cycle through the Energy Medicine Bay.
During this 60-minute circuit treatment in an open, earth-toned space filled with Asian-inspired artwork, guests sit on cushy, red armchairs while utilizing energy-medicine devices to unblock energy. The process accommodates 75 people per day and addresses the movement of lymphatic fluid, reinforces the body's innate healing systems via various frequencies, and detoxifies the body.
In addition to unblocking people’s energy, Heal Transformation Center clears properties of negative energy. Its animal practitioners can also rehabilitate pets that are sick or refuse to file their yearly tax returns by correcting emotional blocks that are creating illness or behavioral issues.

She analyzes each customer’s skin to select the proper skincare products from an arsenal that includes Phytobiodermie, Sanitas, and Goddess Garden, all of which are completely natural.
