Opening a small business might seem like a big step for some people, but Ron Wimmer had seen enough in his life to take a risk. After traveling the world as a photojournalist for five years, Wimmer returned home and opened his first professional studio. He moved his family and studio to the Midwest in 1994, and he has since kept busy doing what he loves: capturing intimate moments from behind the camera. Today, Wimmer works both on location and in a Wauwatosa-based, 2500-square-foot studio, snapping photographs of individuals, groups, and families, among many other subjects.
Professional photographer Jaci Sumner approaches every shoot with a clean slate, taking cues from the personalities of those centered in her lens rather than imposing a fixed aesthetic onto a client or occasion. The resulting photos are marked by a certain naturalness and are made unique by the photographer's willingness to break with outmoded photography conventions.
When she's not taking photographs, Jaci engages in locally focused philanthropic efforts that include her own organization, ProjectStella. The initiative was named after her dog and studio companion Stella, and has raised funds for the Milwaukee Humane Society since 2009.
Suburban Studio will snap crystal clear, high-quality shots of you and a companion or your entire family in virtually any setting. Settle into the comfortable atmosphere at the interior studio, or request that you and a photographer rendezvous at an outdoor scenic location, such as a park, a tree house, or the inside of a coconut. The friendly, knowledgeable Suburban Studio staff will even make suggestions on how to look sharp for the camera (by choosing the right clothes, wearing subtle makeup, and striking imaginative poses), while encouraging you to make your own statement. These skilled shutterbugs work to personalize set designs in advance, ensuring you'll capture the essence of your relationship.
Capturing life and all it's precious moments is what photographer Wayde at Babboni Photography aims to do with each portrait he takes. And with more than three decades of experience, Wayde understands that each portrait, be it for families, high-school seniors, children, babies, or weddings, is more than just a picture, but a lifelong memory. Clients can determine their preference for color or black-and-white images as well as if sessions should take place inside or outside of the studio. This attention to detail and commitment are apparent during business portrait sessions, which capture professional headshots that can be used for realtor advertisements or entrepreneur websites.
The owner of Distinctive Memories, Robyn Stoffel-Nichols, preserves milestones. Newborns, recently engaged couples, and high-school graduates beam at her camera at outdoor venues of clients' choice or in Robyn's studio, where professional lighting and various backgrounds accent poses.

Though not included with this Groupon, occasionally the team at Art's Camera Plus also partners with representatives of major camera companies to offer workshops that cover advanced topics on using Sony, Nikon, or Canon digital SLR cameras.
