Since the first fairway drive in 1923, players at Sycamore Golf Club have sent their golf balls cruising down tree-lined chutes blanketed in pristine bentgrass in effort to conquer the course par of 71. The 18-hole course straddles the Kishwaukee River and extends to a total length of 5,817 yards from the back tees and 5,302 yards from the front tees. A meticulous maintenance team keeps the course in excellent condition, meaning golfers will rarely have to hit out of fairway divots or find their golf ball running away with vagabond gangs of crabgrass tumbleweeds.

Red Barn Golf Course's nine-hole, executive layout stretches across 2,120 yards of scenic, player-friendly terrain. The course promotes short game improvement with a preponderance of par-threes, while two holes that exceed 300 yards in length allow drivers and three-woods to doff their sequined headcovers for at least one heroic drive. Nineteen sand traps loom on the edges of the course's fairways and greens, adding drama to linksmen's orb-blasting expedition. The grounds also encompass a pro shop, putting green, short game area, and a full-length driving range, where guests will likely encounter PGA Instructor Marianne Floberg Kaiser, who roams the grounds, imparting golf wisdom in lessons and burying untold treasures throughout the course's bunkers.

Designed by esteemed fairway forger Thomas Bendelow—whose prolific career as a course architect earned him the moniker “The Johnny Appleseed of Golf”—Country Club Estates Golf Course’s nine-hole course gently rises and falls over 3,011 yards of kempt greenery. Guests pass through a medieval-style arch to gain access to the course, entering a realm populated by sand traps, water hazards, and squirrels dressed as court jesters. The layout challenges golfers with many shots to blind targets, placing confident swings and sound course management at a premium. Before rounds, players can peruse the pro shop to upgrade aging golf gear or motivate underperforming clubs by introducing them their potential replacements.
