The waste-removal experts at Doggy-Do excel at clearing canines' outdoor stomping grounds of smelly deposits, hauling away the amassed backyard waste of up to four dogs. During an initial visit, the staff infiltrates the customer’s yard and quickly scoops up each artisan doggy pie using equipment that's sanitized with a parvocide-based spray, which protects against harmful bacteria, is safer than bleach, and gives pooper scoopers the power to sniff out even the most cleverly concealed droppings. Pet owners can schedule the two follow-up visits five days a week, and needn't worry about being home during Doggy-Do's campaigns.
Opened in 2006, Sloppy Dog Wash is Tulsa's premier canine care facility offering self-serve dog washes, full service dog washes, dog grooming and a fun variety of dog accessories. The staff at Doggone-It Daycare wants customers' dogs to run wild—in a cage-free, climate-controlled environment, that is. Two indoor playgrounds host socialization sessions where pets play with one another, chew on toys, leap over obstacles, or concoct sure-fire plans to finally catch their own tail. Staff members walk each dog at least four times a day during daycare stays, and tuck them into comfortable beds during overnight visits.
Midtown Tails keeps precious pooches well-cared for with its expert dog-walking and visiting services. Canine corraler Rachael Baldwin puts pet health and comfort first, with her pet first-aid certification from the American Red Cross and her membership with Pet Sitters International. During the 30-minute walk, dogs can scamper about under the watchful leash of Rachael, taking in plenty of exercise and attention throughout the scenic trek around their own, familiar neighborhood, keeping pets comfortable and reducing separation anxiety. The walkathon commences with a refueling of fresh food and water, and up to three hounds can get in on the strolling session.
Marjorie "The Dog Trainer" Satterfield has specialized in dog training since 1974. She's prepped pooches for exhibitions, trained therapy dogs and service dogs, and published numerous articles focused on training techniques. At her location in the Fontana Square shopping center, Marjorie and her team of instructors focus on problematic canine behaviors such as chewing, growling, and leaving messes. In addition to addressing problems, they can teach dogs party tricks such as how to pick out colors on command.
During her many years as a pet groomer, Tina Bebee witnessed grooming methods that filled her with dismay. In 1991, she decided to open her own grooming shop, naming it in a way that made its specialty clear. From a basic nail trim to a full bath with shedding treatment, each session is performed by caring mane tamers, and Gentle Pet Grooming's managers oversee and check the work of all groomers-in-training. When possible, dogs are paired with the same groomer at each visit to establish a loving bond and make the experience more pleasant for tender-headed mutts.
