At The Adventure Park at Long Island, small platforms hang at various levels among the branches and boughs, connected by bridges and ziplines. Guests navigate up into the canopy and then soar back down, experiencing fantastic speeds coupled with stunning aerial views. To ensure all visitors have ample time to enjoy their experience, course start times are staggered throughout the day. This keeps the treetop traffic at a minimum, ensuring minimal wait times and no outbursts from squirrels with road rage.

Passengers lounge on the wooden benches inside the vintage red and green trolley, gazing through arched windows to watch the scenery pass. Though old-fashioned, this trolley isn't limited by rails; North Fork Trolley Company's drivers freely navigate the rolling country roads of Twin Forks and North Fork. On guided tours, they usher groups to the countryside's private wineries and vineyards, where they may stop for tastings, lunches, and in-depth tours that demystify the fermentation process and reveal which wines can give you the courage to ask if you can try a barrel on for size. Tours also roll into the scenic, historic villages of Greenport, Southampton, and Sag Harbor for sightseeing and walking tours. Upon request, the company can design personalized trolley charters for events such as weddings, birthdays, and family reunions.

Colorful knobs and grips jut out from City Climb's angular white walls, guiding climbers of all experience levels along routes designed by USAC-certified setters. These vertical treks are made safe by ropes, which are looped into climbers' harnesses and held below by belayers. No harness is necessary to clamber along the curves of a bouldering cave, however—or while army crawling the entire length of the floor. Students can bring their own equipment or rent climbing shoes, harnesses, and chalk bags at the gym.
