Kara's Pole Studio is anything but exclusive. Owner Kara Davis makes a point to welcome every adult—no matter their age, size, or gender—to engage in high-flying, liberating exercises. Though spouses and significant others can't attend the same classes as their mates, Kara welcomes all to experience her pole-conditioning, chair-dance, and cardio-burlesque courses. As an extra treat for her students, Kara also hosts special guests, which have previously included industry celebs such as regional pole-dance champions and Miss Pole Dance Australia 2012.
Perched on picturesque Galveston Island, Moody Gardens possesses a storied history that complements its scenic surroundings. More than two million visitors a year get to live part of that history, drawn by the 242-acre park's three towering pyramids. The staff at Island Bicycle Company keeps its fleet of bikes, surfboards, kayaks, and cruisers ready to traverse surf or sand with the help of their in-house service department. Recently added to the store's fleet, A2B Metro electric bikes buzz along the beachfront and harbor via maps included with self-guided tour packages. Metal detectors and binoculars help beachgoers find buried treasure or spot incoming ghost ships. In addition to rentals, the store sells two-wheelers from brands such as Electra, Sun Bicycle, and more.
Rocked by a powerful storm in 1900, Mayfield Manor has never been the same since. Apparitions appear in the hallways, ghouls dwell within the walls, and insane Dr. Mayfield himself lurches through the dozen haunted rooms that plague the house. A full cast of characters inhabits the attraction, as Dr. Mayfield searches for a new pair of eyes for his bride, Sarah.

In doing so, the staff shows men and women how to react to real-world confrontations in such a way that protects them from harm.
