The downtown gastropub boasts an extensive menu of reimagined pub fare. Start with a Scotch egg ($4), hard-boiled then wrapped in a garlic sausage before being doused with breading and fried. Or opt for an order of the pub poppers ($3), almond-stuffed medjool dates swaddled in strips of delicious bacon. Unstoppable appetites pause at the prosciutto burger ($12), and herbivorous eaters nosh the black-bean chipotle veggie burger ($11) with a side of fresh-cut-daily fries coated with garlic (add $2). Large plates, such as the slow-simmered chili verde with braised pork and green chilies ($8) or the Alaskan halibut and chips ($16) make gastro-pub elitists grovel. Hand-tossed pizzas (starting at $10) and fresh salads (starting at $5) complete the eclectic menu.

Wise Guys' triad of venues in Trolley Square, Downtown Ogden, and West Valley City holds an ever-rotating calendar of nationally touring and local comics. A cavalcade of beloved standups has graced Wise Guys’ brick-backed stages, including Norm MacDonald, Chris Kattan, and Bob Saget. The West Valley City location also serves a café-style menu of sandwiches, appetizers, desserts, and more than 20 types of beer.

Live musicians play their latest tunes as the cracking of pool balls reverberates off walls lined with high-definition TVs. From top to bottom, Leatherheads Sports Bar is designed for sports fans, as evidenced by menu items such as Quarterback sliders and the Leatherheads burger: a third-pound patty with jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and chipotle aioli. To round out the menu, chefs grill nine other specialty burgers, hand make meatballs for subs, and stack ham, turkey, and bacon into clubhouse sandwiches named after the clubhouse at St. Andrew’s golf course, which was made out of stacked ham, turkey, and bacon. Bartenders complement these handheld meals with beer, cocktails, and wine.
