All classes are broken up by age and skill level to ensure each child receives the utmost attention during somersaults and hand stands. Fun, flips, and fitness for kids are the central themes at Star Gymnastics, and parents are invited to watch their children’s feats of grace and athleticism in the open-viewing area.
At CrossFit Alter, a cadre of CrossFit Level 1 coaches leads exercisers through functional workouts that help clients develop a broad base of fitness. The team fosters a challenging, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participants to sweat and pushes them toward better health regardless of their starting point, be it active, out-of-shape, or overweight. Upon arriving at the gym each day, clients perform a new roster of exercises—dubbed the Workout of the Day, or WOD—designed to reveal the athlete within. Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics routines, or zen-like demonstrations of ice-cream resistance could rule the day, all designed to sculpt physiques and improve health.
