Chef Lee Linton has sliced, diced, and sizzled up countless gourmet dishes for more than 30 years. He combines this hefty culinary experience with his passion for nutrition to craft 1,200- and 1,800-calorie meal plans designed to help health-conscious eaters like himself stay in tiptop shape without sacrificing taste or quality. Linton only uses fresh ingredients, shying away from the frozen, dehydrated, or astronaut-friendly ones often used in other premade meals. The menu, which is approved by an on-staff dietitian, rotates regularly, and meets the guidelines set by the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, the American Dietetic Association, and the American Cancer Society. After Chef Linton and his team prepare the dishes within a USDA-approved kitchen, they’ll ship the meals directly to clients’ homes or prep them for pickup at one of Fresh ‘n Fit’s 37 locations.
On select Thursdays at Chillerz Frozen Yogurt, dessert is free. Okay, there's one catch?you have to guess the exact weight of your frozen yogurt creation, then it's free. With all the flavors and fixings available, it's rare that any one of those treats will look the same. Rotating yogurt flavors range from classics like dreamy dark chocolate to more unusual options, such as butter toffee popcorn and spiced apple pie.
Chillerz's self-serve machines have some health-conscious flavors, too, such as non-fat strawberry and orange sorbets. Each cup of yogurt can be enjoyed plain or smothered beneath toppings from a buffet stocked with myriad candies and fruits. Once their treats are all gone, youngsters are invited to draw on Chillerz's chalkboard wall, a nice alternative to practicing their graffiti tags on Chillerz's other walls.

Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club sprung from a man's vision of a place to live, explore, and play. And it wasn't a small dream. The grounds span more than 1,000 acres of the rolling hills that nestle up to the Chattahoochee River, where visitors paddle in open-top kayaks, cruise in hovercrafts, and swim. Water isn't sparse here: 16 lakes, ponds, and streams provide plenty of opportunities for fishing for bass and the Lochness Monster. Further catering to the sporting type, the grounds host hunting expeditions in search of quail, deer, and turkeys.
Beyond natural beauty, the resort also offers man-made resplendence. The sporting club hosts a range of activities at well-appointed facilities, which include bocce ball courts and an equestrian facility. And centrally located amid the Lunker Lake boathouse and swim and tennis center stand rustic, yet modern, fully furnished vacation homes, which accommodate guests with privacy while keeping them in the center of the action.
It’s not hard to find cuts of meat that rival those at restaurants—if you live near Findley’s. Whether grilling outdoors or searing steak on the stove, the butcher shop supplies quality cuts and wild game that boost your meal offerings at home. Angus beef, Berkshire pork, and Ashley Farms organic chicken are just a few of the shop’s markers of meat quality, though raw meat isn’t the only currently the team works with. Among of the central parts of Findley’s processes is a smokehouse that produces fresh jerky, smoked sausage, brisket, and other specialties.
Through a special-order program, the crew also packs customer coolers with items such as caviar, catfish, and fois gras. Alternatively, anyone with little time to spend in the kitchen can grab items from the shop’s selection of heat-and-eat foods such as baby back ribs and twice-baked potatoes. To give customers a unique insight into the shop’s processes, Findley’s also encourages new customers to take free tours of the shop’s backstage areas to see the processes Findley’s is so proud of and to get their bacon autographed.
