A lot of things can happen at a party or event, and Gotcha Photo Booths helps hosts to collect the evidence. The company’s event supervisors travel to venues, set up booths, and oversee all the ensuing shenanigans.
After accessorizing with props such as silly glasses or feather boas, partygoers pile into booths and strike poses for the camera—and for guests waiting outside, who can watch the action on a high-definition screen. Fifteen seconds later, booth occupants can collect duplicate strips of color or black-and-white photos. Hosts can personalize prints with the logo of their event or the crest of their favorite stonemasons’ guild. All photos are digitally stored and may be purchased by the host.
Sushi on the Roll Sushi on the Roll's adroit chefs carefully wrap vinegar-sprinkled rice, nori, and fresh seafood into creations that won the restaurant Best Sushi on the 2010 Fox 8 Akron-Canton Hot List. Classic maki favorites such as an eel or salmon roll satisfy piscine cravings, and spicy rolls such as the Moffa, layered with spicy tuna and shrimp tempura, work their pleasing pyromancy on palates. The eatery's chefs also host periodic hands-on Sushi 101 classes, which divulge the secrets of making nigiri and maki rolls as well as how to grab a good night's sleep by stuffing pillows with perfectly fluffy rice.
Out on the first tee at Arrowhead Golf Club, players stand on the precipice of an 18-hole gauntlet formed by heavily wooded fairways, green-guarding bunkers, and hero-minting water carries. One make-or-break shot arrives as early as the second hole?s approach shot, where anything short of the peninsula green lands in the water, anything long winds up among the evergreens, and anything too high disintegrates upon atmospheric reentry. The premium on strategic shot-making exists throughout the rest of the course as well, most notably on the 200-yard tee shot on the par 10th, the treacherous carry over the sand moat on the 15th green, and around the severe dogleg turn on 16. Upon successful completion of their round, players can dine in the club?s grillroom, where they?ll find a menu stuffed with appetizers, sandwiches, and cold drinks.
Course at a Glance:
corrals five different haunted attractions onto one patch of terrifying farmland. The experience begins in the Haunted Barn, which echoes with strange noises and screams even as visitors pass through to buy their tickets. An enormous skull sits atop the barn, belching clouds of fog and staring balefully at passersby with glowing green eyes. But the skull's frightful gaze is nothing compared to the horrors that await guests beyond the haunted barn. In Crazy Clowns 3D, for example, visitors don a pair of 3D glasses and delved into a psychedelic trip through ultra-bright, horrifyingly realistic imagery. Bloody Mary's Revenge, meanwhile, features Hollywood-quality special effects; in fact, it's a replica of the Halloween attraction created for Universal Studios Orlando. In addition to gore and scares, Bloody Mary's Revenge features actor-operated, hybrid multi-motion animatronics, which, in layman's terms, translates to "people inside scary robots that come after you".
While special effects terrify and astound, they're hardly the only impressive scare on the Ranch. The classic Haunted Hayride, for instance, takes visitors through the Forest of Fear, where ghouls lurk in the fog beneath the limbs of 30-foot tall animated creatures who summon pyrotechnic fire. If visitors survive the other attractions, then all that stands between them and the exit is the Funny Fun House. This classic circus attraction has reflection-mutating mirrors, a spinning black hole tunnel, and an upside down room. Once guests have righted themselves, the attraction deposits them at the Halloween gift shop, where they'll have the opportunity to take revenge on the spooks by buying a few and forcing them to sing show tunes on the ride home.
