We started with a small used bookstore in Warner Robins, GA in 2007. In 2009, we opened our second store in Byron. In 2010, we opened our Macon location. The original location has tripled in size since our opening date. With three locations spread up and down I-75, we are convenient to anyone in the Mid-GA area.
At Let's Paint Pottery, aspiring artists can drop in anytime to customize plain pieces of pottery. After selecting an unfinished ceramic piece from the studio's selection of serving ware and home decor items, they’ll use provided stamps, stencils, and idea books to map out their design and next tattoos. They then draw from a palette of more than 50 paints and glazes to coat their creation before handing it over to a staff member, who fires the work in the studio's kiln. The studio also offers two-hour canvas-painting sessions, wherein guests armed with acrylic paints learn brushstroke basics.
Southern Views Magazine sates the tastes of stylish urbanites by publishing how-to guides for culture living in the South. The bi-monthly magazine arranges articles concerning the goings-on of a well-to-do Southerner in a hip and easy-to-read fashion, with topics ranging from arts and culture to social events. The Homes section is a drool-inducing visual feast displaying the most beautifully designed pads in the South, with past features showing off a traditional, elegantly appointed two-story Tudor next to a minimalist, industrial loft space. The Fashion section for the February/March 2011 issue features sprightly spring attire and ensembles with an outdoorsy twist to replace last year's fad of wearing janitorial buckets as hats. The Interviews section features conversations with various people of importance, including Rod Stewart, Mike Rowe—star of Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs— and Major General Robert B. Brown, commanding general of Fort Benning.
