Clients reign supreme at Elements Therapeutic Massage. A massage at this studio becomes a custom sojourn through relief and relaxation, spurred on by a unique level system that ensures every sore back and tight shoulder receives the care it needs.
During a consultation with their therapist, clients choose from four levels of massage, beginning at Level 1, which is a light, relaxing treatment, and going up to Level 4, a deep massage designed to undo knots and kinks. Once clients have decided on a level suitable to their needs, therapists blend techniques drawn from modalities such as deep-tissue and Swedish into a revitalizing massage that could calm a jack-in-the-box.
Since each therapist's specialties are different, clients are paired with the practitioner whose specialties meet their needs. Prenatal, hot-stone, and sports massage are a few examples of specialty massages offered by the versatile and experienced bodyworkers.
Licensed massage therapist Kelle Staszak understands that muscles are like tiger stripes: no two sets are the same. That's why she tailors relaxation, deep-tissue, and lymphatic massage to each client's need—whether they're looking to sooth a sore spot or just lie around with their shirt off for a while. During 30-, 60-, or 90-minute sessions, she keeps lines of communication open, adjusting and modifying techniques to locate muscle knots and stay well within clients' pain threshold.
Badger Health Center’s trained instructors help practitioners find their footing with a healthy schedule of yoga, Zumba, tai chi, and qi-gong ball classes. After checking that they’ve donned tops and bottoms, guests locate their centers at Iyengar yoga classes, which focus the mind with deep breathing and build strength with lengthy poses. Unlike a nougat-filled river, Vinyasa yoga’s low-impact, balance-bolstering poses flow, and Zumba's cardio dance party blitzes stress and calories to the beat of lively Latin rhythms. Slow, meditative tai-chi movements and qi-gong ball exercises aim to tone muscles and balance the chi, an energy thought to course through all living things and talking lava lamps.
