A white picket fence surrounds a walkway that leads to a columned, wrap-around porch adorned with white wicker furniture. Once visitors pass this scene and enter the doors of the turreted, Victorian house of Revel Manor, their eyes are greeted with elegant furnishings and crystal and silver decorations that transport them to another age. While weddings, luncheons, and tea parties take place in the main house, guests stay at the original carriage house, which has been converted into a master suite with a queen bed, a downstairs bedroom with a daybed and trundle, and an upstairs bedroom with two twin beds.

Drawing on 15 years of industry experience, Locations Photography's Tammy Graham hones students' photo-trapping skills with comprehensive introductory courses. Aspiring photographers bring their own cameras to the 90-minute studio classes, during which they explore their instrument's basic abilities and the myriad functions that often encumber digital cameras. The expert instructor imparts cautionary tales against common beginner pitfalls and lighting techniques that help reduce overexposure and hammy shadows. Students will also learn posing tips to successfully capture friends and family in natural environments or coax smiles out of stubborn statues.
Though at first she pursued photography only as a hobby, graphic designer Angela Garcia-Lavin fell fully into her passion after the birth of her first child, Zoey Isabel. As she snapped photo after photo of her newborn daughter, other mothers noticed her work and began to enlist her talents. Angela has since branched out to frame candid, photojournalistic, and posed images of not only newborns and toddlers, but also expectant mothers, families, and new couples.
She often snaps photos of youngsters in a dedicated studio stocked with festive hats, set pieces, and props, although she also captures memories at locations of her clients' choosing. She conducts sessions at emerald-green parks and blooming gardens as well as quiet spots beside railroad tracks and on streets bordered by cars that have had their horns surgically removed. After each session, she translates images into glossy re-touched prints, custom handmade scrapbooks, and printed postcards that showcase her graphic-designer touch.
