Pro Tip: Feel free to contact me for a consultation to discuss what's best for your hair.
What is one of your signature services? How is it performed?
Balayge-style ombre. I can create a subtle ombre effect without the harsh lines by using the balayage technique. The colors will fade gradually from the roots to the ends of your hair.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
Making people feel great about themselves and boosting their confidence.
What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
I do a thorough consultation to make sure we are both on the same page. I want to know exactly how my client wants their hair done before I start cutting or coloring.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
The number one complaint I hear from new clients is that their last stylist just didn't listen to what they wanted. So I always talk to my clients about their hair to determine their likes and dislikes, and what we can do to fix any problems. I strive to be a good listener, and I try to give professional advice to all of my clients.
For 30 years, the staff at Cliff Hartman Farms Quarter Horses has been breeding, showing and boarding steeds, including the nationally renowned stallion Good Terms. The equestrian family channels their expertise into lessons conducted in an insulated indoor ring, two outdoor arenas, a circular pen, and more than 1,000 acres of trail-laden land in the Ozark Hills. The farm's weekly lessons—molded around English and Western techniques—teach beginners how to groom and saddle horses before an hour of riding and a brief cool down. Day and summer camps afford the same opportunities for youngsters. And for those who own their own horse, the facility maintains a robust line of boarding stalls, all of which accommodate equines better than the antiquated storage zones such as the family garage or the family high-dive.
Guglielmo Marconi successfully transmits the first radio wave across the English Channel. On the other side of the pond, in Missouri, Nixa Hardware & Seed Co is founded. The year is 1899. Since that auspicious beginning more than a century ago, the hardware store company has grown to "7 acres of savings," and throughout its history, its expansive wholesale collection of plants, fertilizers, soils, and tools has equipped avid gardeners and professional farmers throughout southwest Missouri. Today, nursery workers and plant experts shepherd visitors through pallets of specially concocted livestock feed and bags of carefully formulated fertilizer, while horticulturalists on Nixa's research farm develop tried-and-true plant and grass varieties proven to thrive in local climates. Though the staff is proud of its bulk garden seeds and mulch, a selection of go-karts and generators proves that the company has evolved since its 19th-century origins. The team even purveys renewable-energy biomass furnaces that can keep costs low and household operations sustainable.
Like burying yourself neck-deep in lush planting soil, visits to the bustling agricultural center can evoke a strong, heartwarming connection with the land, with friendly staff members working hand-in-hand with clients to pick out the perfect seed, beekeeping gear, newly hatched chicks, or lawn-care equipment.
The team at West Termite, Pest, & Lawn have accounted for 75 years of collective experience, arming them with time-earned know-how to chase off pestilential nuisances such as termites, rodents, and weeds. The licensed and insured team renders its services on a monthly and quarterly basis or as a one-time treatment, establishing exterior perimeters to help prevent bug invasions. When they're not driving off termite populations, team members also keep homes and business pretty through their lawn care treatments, which include weed control, fertilization, and core aeration.
The licensed, trained lawn-care professionals at Weed Man treat lawns with EPA-approved products. They harness the power of a specially formulated fertilizer, which includes slow-release granules of naturally occurring ingredients and minerals such as nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium. Through the company’s integrated-pest-management program, technicians can preemptively or retroactively oust weeds from lawns with EPA-approved weed-control products that still allow grass to thrive.
