At the Cinnamon Kiss Cafe, breakfast is an art form. Signature recipes get a dash of homegrown appeal thanks to fresh ingredients picked from the local market. These elements culminate in pancakes, french toast, egg dishes, and a breakfast special that combines all of the above. To complement these selections, the cafe offers up mimosas and the Cinnamon Kiss Tea, a house-special sweet tea with added flavors.
Every cigar at Olde World Tobacco tells a story, and Olde World's tobacconists gladly educate visitors on the cylindrical pieces of handcrafted art that reside behind the glass walls of the shop's humidors. After guiding guests to cigars such as the Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R, shopkeepers invite visitors to relax in the smoking lounge. Once there, guests soak up the atmosphere created by leather club chairs, a 50-inch high-definition television, and solid-diamond ashtrays—which earned the room distinction as a Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge. Beyond cigars, Olde World Tobacco offers gourmet coffee and espresso from their partner operation Joey's Java House, where coffee aficionados roast beans in-house three days a week.:
Specializing in locally-sourced, seasonal fare whenever possible, the folks behind Fox & Fern Cafe have made it their mission to craft a menu of casual cafe eats made with the freshest possible ingredients. Inside the colorful, well-lit storefront, customers step up to order from a long list of sandwiches lined with fresh quality ingredients, sourced from local and organic farms when possible. But sandwiches aren't all that's made fresh. Each day, bakers whip up their specialty sweets, which often include scones, cinnamon buns, cookies, cupcakes, and tarts, all served alongside fresh-brewed coffee and espresso drinks.
Inside the savory-scented digs of Honey Baked Ham & Cafe, spools of hardwood-smoked, spiral-sliced ham entice carnivorous palates. Here, chefs uphold the same traditions that Harry J. Hoenselaar created more than 40 years ago. Back then, he chose individual hams, cured them in his secret marinade, and smoked them over hardwood chips before offsetting the earthy flavor with a crisp, sweet glaze. To this day, the staff still makes the signature bone-in hams one at a time and glazes them in the shop.
The hammery's kitchens also whip up classic side dishes and desserts, such as the sweet-potato soufflé. For less formal feasting, party trays and packed lunch boxes fuel business meetings, backyard grad parties, and lengthy end-zone celebrations.
Cup Love cools off tongues with classic low- and non-fat frozen yogurt in flavors such as strawberry and vanilla, salty caramel, cake batter, and cookies and cream. Its self-serve machines also dole out creamy Fage Greek frozen yogurt. As a result, Cup Love was voted to have some of the best fro-yo in Baltimore by CBS in 2012.
The shop further satisfies sweet teeth with housemade cupcakes in flavors such as coconut, banana-toffee, and s'mores. Many of the cupcakes are gluten free, low in sugar, and made with multigrain flour, resulting in a dessert that's both healthy and tasty, unlike dark-chocolate-covered peas.
