For more than 20 years, The Evening Hatch's CPR- and first aid–certified guides have led relaxing full- and half-day river tours down the scenic Yakima and Klickitat Rivers. Guides offer info and anecdotes about the varied flora, fauna, and history of the area, and rafts frequently stop along the river to drop off loot plundered from other rafts and take on more food and drink.

Tastin’ n Racin’ attracts speed demons and foodies alike with a lineup of water races, food booths, and live music. Each year, Lake Sammamish becomes an aquatic racetrack as hydroplanes and speedboats zoom across the water's surface toward victory. On land, the festival hosts car shows, live music, and an arts and crafts market, where local artisans spin straw into stained-glass window trinkets. As the name implies, Tastin’ n Racin’ also always lines up an army of food booths and a beer garden stocked with pub grub and brews sourced locally and abroad.

A father-son team, Dickson Flyfishing guides and teaches fly-fishing to all levels of anglers on Olympic Peninsula waters, Puget Sound rivers, and many eastern Washington rivers. Conscious of their environmental impact, they lead eco-rafting trips throughout the year on the Skagit, Sauk, and Queets Rivers, as well as fishing trips for steelhead, cutthroat trout, and salmon with scales made of gold. More adventurous clients can embark on winter fly-fishing trips for tarpon on the flats of the Caribbean or three-day campouts on the Grande Ronde River. Additionally, scenic rafting tours bring visitors up close to wildlife such as eagles. Dickson Flyfishing also runs a virtual fly shop, where they sell their own line of equipment.

The instructors at Sky Valley Academy help children build confidence and self esteem through gymnastics, cheerleading, and stunting classes geared toward students of all levels. School-year classes let kids blow off some academic steam with afternoon and evening sessions, while summer camps can keep kids busy and engaged all day long. In cheerleading and stunting classes, kids learn positions, jumps, hip-hop moves, and tumbling before integrating all their new skills into a routine sure to make nearby sports teams instinctively win their games. Party packages are also available for active kids and their guests to frolic on such attractions as trampolines, a tumbling pit, and bouncy castles before digging into a themed birthday cake.
