Making new friends doesn't have to involve going to the bar or lurking in the grocery store produce section. It could mean joining Milwaukee Social Club, a local organization that schedules sports leagues and special events. Players have their choice of sports to play year round, from Touch Football in the Fall to Softball, Volleyball, and Kickball in the summer. A second season of new leagues has been added for participants. They can also enjoy events such as Packer Viewing parties and the exclusive "MSC Day-Off".

Elite Sports Club started as an all-tennis facility, but over the years has netted a larger variety of fitness activities and services to create multi-purpose, family-oriented clubs. Elite's large facilities house high-end cardio and weight equipment such as LifeFitness, Cybex, Paramount, Matrix, Star Trac, and Precor machines, basketball/sport courts, and Pilates and GRAVITY studios (GRAVITY training encourages organic movement and exercise by using the body’s own weight as resistance). Elite's classes and group training vary by club location, but include Pilates, Body Blitz Boot Camp, Women on Weights, triathlon training, and a miscellany of junior fitness classes to teach youngsters the importance of health, nutrition, and not acting their shoe size. All locations grant their members free tennis-court time from June through August, and all can provide daycare services.

Fondy Sports Park entertains miniature sports enthusiasts of all ages with a mini-golf course and other kiddie-friendly games. The 18-hole mini-golf course challenges even the most studious putter with dynamic holes guarded by hills and obstacles including animal statues, buildings, and sentient bogeys and birdies. Just like the Masters Tournament, mini-golfers with max determination can play out the entire course and seek to win a free game on the 18th-hole challenge. Though not included in this Groupon, Fondy Sports Park also satiates adventure seekers with go-karts, batting cages, bumper boats, and other thrilling activities to get the family out of the house and help them forget last night's contentious six-hour Monopoly game.

My Gym, which currently has more than 200 international locations, began more than 20 years ago as a structured place for children to safely play, acquire new skills, and romp off a sugar buzz. All classes are organized according to age level?starting as young as 6 months?and designed to incorporate the latest physiological and psychological research. Tiny Tykes gets babies moving with help from their parents, Mighty Mites teaches toddlers self-reliance and beginning sports skills, and Champions, a class for kids aged 6 to 9, emphasizes the importance of using teamwork to master more complex sports skills and achieve group goals such as building a human pyramid to reach the cookie jar. My Gym's energetic instructors are experts at using music, dance, and gymnastics to build youngsters' strength and self-esteem while stimulating their giggle-plexes. The noncompetitive environment fosters creativity, and hands-on activities boost children's learning retention and fun quotient.
