Specializing in carpet, upholstery, and area-rug cleaning, Citywide Cleaning Services' crews trundle up to houses in trucks bearing hefty steam-cleaning machinery. They pretreat problem areas and stains on carpets using Green Cleaning products before unleashing the full piping hot fury of their hot water extraction equipment onto floors, swiftly sucking away grime and stains. Afterwards, carpets can take as little as six hours to dry, through most carpets take 12 hours to dry out, especially those who follow treatment with back to back viewings of Beaches and Steel Magnolias. Using only nontoxic products, Citywide Cleaning Services does its best to ensure that no irritants compromise newly cleaned homes.

Pro Tip: Our overwhelming desire is to guarantee your satisfaction as we work to create a beautiful lawn
What makes your business stand out?
Our mission is to continually satisfy our customer's highest expectations for quality, service and integrity, to earn their trust and keep them coming back. It's a mission that we are proudly committed to renew each day when we open our doors for business. We specialize in full service landscape and maintenance services throughout Western Washington.
What inspired you to start or run this business?
Because of the cool, wet winters that are experienced in Western Washington there is a huge need for lawn renovation services. Aerating, thatching, and overseeding lawns is necessary to get rid of the moss and to make a healthy lawn grow in in its place. I take great pride in taking an unkempt, moss-covered lawn, and turning it into the envy of the neighborhood.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
In addition to lawn renovation services we also specialize in taking care of the lawn after renovating it.
What is the best reaction you?ve ever gotten from a customer?
"I confess to letting the old lawn go last year and it was sure looking poor and neglected. We had moss, weeds and the grass became sparse and weak. This spring I hired Jeff at Growscapes and in only a few months of careful nurturing we have one of the best lawns in our neighborhood. It?s really lush and green. I just can't decide if it looks more like the infield in Yankee Stadium or Safeco Field." Tony J.
What?s your favorite part about your job?
Having the neighbors approach me after seeing my work and asking me to take care of their lawn!

Jason, the owner of 2 Good Guys Window Cleaning, says that he and his partner realized quickly that "if you want something done right, you do it yourself." So they scrub every pane of glass themselves to ensure clients are satisfied. They also pressure-wash siding and driveways, clean gunk out of gutters, and clear roofs of all the fallen leaves and crashed flying saucers homeowners have a hard time removing.
Although most chefs have their own unique style of peeling, dicing, and julienning veggies, they all have one thing in common: they each require precise, sharp knives. At Excalibur Cutlery and Gifts, the staff ensures that tools remain as close to their factory condition as possible. During sharpening services, a water-cooled belt system and buffing wheels restore a piercing blade while removing a minimal amount of steel. They can sharpen kitchen, pocket, and hunting knives, as well as dull scissors and razors.
The shop also stocks premium models of nearly every edge they sharpen. The cutlery department stocks German-made Wusthof and Henckels, Swiss-made Forschner, and Oregon-grown Kershaw knives. Ideal for camping trips, pocket knives come in both blade and multitool varieties. More genteel wares include manicure sets and old-fashioned shaving kits. Excalibur also boasts a collection of swords for the collector or CEO whose business suit needs extra panache.
The self-cleaning house. It’s a vision of modernity from the 1950s that, unlike robots or manned spaceflight, never quite came to pass. Luckily, the insured technicians at Maid 2 Please remain undaunted by this failure of technology, fighting the war against domestic dust with a roster of diverse cleaning services. Crews can be deployed for a quick apartment spruce-up or a deep housecleaning, wherein they disinfect the bathroom and kitchen, dust off surfaces, mop floors, and remove lipstick smudges from plaster busts of James Dean. Maid 2 Please can also vanquish office dust bunnies with one-time or recurring commercial cleanings.
Pande Cameron traces its origins back to 1924, when Colonel Guner Pande and his business partner, Ernest Cameron, began importing and selling fine oriental rugs with the help of their enterprising young assistant, Mihran Paul Andonian. Twenty-five years later, Mihran inherited the business, eventually passing it to the father-and-son team of Charles and Brad Andonian, who mind the shop to this very day. The flooring experts display a dazzling display of carpets in their South Lake Union and Bellevue storefronts, and also perform restoration of precious underfoot adornments, from purifying sullied wool and silk area rugs to dispatching ferocious reanimated bearskin rugs. Antique rugs cloak floorboards in dark-wine reds and ornamental paisley teardrops, and contemporary carpeting covers tile and hardwood with striking seas of color and creative designs. In addition to keeping toes basking in the soft fibers of new, restored, or rental carpets, Pande Cameron maintains a vital connection to its community through charitable partnerships with organizations such as Seattle Children's Hospital and the South Lake Union Park.
