LA Boxing offers fitness classes in boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts. The proprietary style of the LA Boxing workout is a mixture of genuine fight training, engaging fitness, and stronger-than-earth gravity. Quasi-boxers and martial artists may burn from 800 to more than 1,000 calories during these total-body routines, which combine external inspiration with jukes, jabs, and kicks. Both men and women are welcome in the ring, where they'll learn new techniques and methods to blissfully break into a sweat in an energetic group setting. Gloves are provided during the one-month trial membership, as are a set of reusable pro-quality hand wraps and complimentary motivational mumbling from Burgess Meredith (all three subject to availability).

Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?

We believe in teaching our clients how to do our exercise programs, as well as how their bodies work and how the exercises we are prescribing will help them achieve their fitness goals. We also combine a scientific approach with energetic instructors, upbeat music, and a community environment that keep our clients motivated.

What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make?

When one woman first joined us, she couldn't look people in the eye and refused to work with a male trainer. Today, she is a new person: 60 pounds lighter, stronger, more confident, and completely comfortable with all our trainers. In her personal life, she also found the courage to make a major career change.

Amid a wide open layout and matted floors, the highly trained and certified coaches lead classes in a variety of focuses, including abdominal work, kettlebell exercises, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and MMA training, as well as hypertrophy workshops. Trainers take advantage of the studio's abundance of functional equipment, supplementing exercises with heavyweight punching bags, massive tractor tires, and sledgehammers. A forest of punching bags dangles from the rafters at Box-2B-Fit Boxing Clubs, where athletes throw jabs and hooks as instructors motivate them to push to their limits during each workout. Modeled after boxing training, the workouts at Box-2B-Fit supplement floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee with strength training and kettlebell drills to light the path toward slimmer and stronger physiques.
