We have monthly challenges that keeps our clients engaged. We also run workshops that help to prepare our clients for a lifelong health journey. Our approach is holistic in that it includes physical, spiritual and nutritional fitness and caters to the entire family.

Velocity Bootcamp's clients torch calories, whittle waists, and tone muscles during 30-minute boot-camp workouts. Consisting of bodyweight exercises such as suspension training and plyometrics, the small group workouts take place in a supportive, non-intimidating atmosphere. For convenience, the staff schedules up to 20 classes per week, including 6 a.m. classes for early birds who want to get the worm and then sling it several hundred yards. The personal trainers also help clients outside the gym by offering them easy-to-follow nutrition guidelines.

Spirited instructors certified in CPR and first aid lead one-hour pole-dancing sessions, imparting the know-how to perform graceful spins, strength-building moves, and more tricks than a skateboarder who can pull a rabbit from a beanie. Each student works out on her own X-Pole Xpert pole, whose 50 millimeters of shiny chrome inspire sultry twirls and R2-D2 impressions. The maximum of nine spinners per class ensures that participants nab personalized tips on form and safety. M.E.L.T. Fitness Studio's trainers see each body can be defined and molded with the appropriate exercises. Rather than a standard group workout for all their clients, they provide what they call group personal training, modifying and accentuating various exercises to the ability level of their students. They stick to a theme each day, reserving Tuesdays for fat-burning blasts, Fridays for abdominal work, and Saturdays for m.e.l.t.ed cardio, which burns as much fat as possible while building cardio endurance. Within that theme, they provide personal variations for each client to accommodate fitness level or injuries, very often naturally relieving chronic pain by carefully strengthening muscles around the affected area.
