Carlos Gonzalez wields his camera for everything from catalogue shoots to professional head-shots. Over the past 20 years, he's built a portfolio that draws from diverse styles while capturing models, expectant mothers, and city landscapes. He also can also arrange sultry and flattering boudoir photos, while being careful to respect each woman's personal level of modesty and accommodate any allergies to feather boas. When he isn't behind the lens, Gonzalez teaches photography classes.
Jennifer Alvarez Photography specializes in capturing candid moments, transforming genuine emotion into cherishable portraits and high-resolution digital photographs. Cooing babies and canoodling lovebirds can schedule photo-snapping sessions at a site of their choosing to meet with a seasoned shutterbug. After a relaxed portrait-posing rendezvous, you’ll sift through thumbnails to find your favorite, then choose one to metamorphose into an 8"x10" print. As an added memory-memorializing bonus, portrait posers will also receive a CD stocked with up to 100 high-resolution digital images, which can be printed to adorn mantles, given as birthday gifts, or glued above bathroom sinks to replace broken mirrors.
Jady's high-quality images bridge the gap between an original portrait painted by a Renaissance master and a plain old picture. The team of talented photographers aims to establish a personal connection with subjects in order to provide an enjoyable experience and images that capture your exact spirit without stealing your soul from your body. The boutique company works with a smaller number of clients, working to tell a story through the optic magic of lenses and mirrors.
JC Productions employs a team of video, audio, and event-planning experts who create media ranging from wedding photos to web designs to commercials. Professional photographers commemorate engagements or capture weddings and web designers stylize web pages. Graphic designers working in tandem with scriptwriters can pen flyers or develop the right tone to advertise a brand for a service or product.
Barquin Photography, formerly Lil' People Portrait Gallery, is a studio steered by husband-wife team Carlos and Eli Barquin. As parents themselves, they know how important it is to get portraits of kids before they grow up and become surly tax accountants, so they offer clients a special Le Bebe collection. This captures pictures of kids at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months.
Carlos, the former chief photographer for Telemundo's morning show from 2000 to 2009, snaps images of the kids, and Eli, a former first-grade school teacher, wrangles them together and keeps them smiling.
Carlos and Eli work alongside Armando Pico, who shoots the studio's senior portraits and is a wedding photographer, as well as Javier Uria and Gino Reyes, the sports and school shutterbugs. Then there's Sandra Gutierrez-Uria, who retouches photos and erases immature hand gestures made by imaginary friends. Clients get to review these photos on the lobby's flat-screen TV.
Maria-Ines Clarke, the owner of Boudoir by Marie, lavishes her clients with a detail-oriented service that frequently starts with glasses of champagne and hair and makeup styling. After subjects pick flattering threads from the corset rack, Clarke coaches them in seductive poses and facial expressions such as pouty lips or come-hither bunny ears. Her photo packages offer a range of shoot options from one to two hours, which ultimately yield printed booklets or online galleries of approximately 80 images.
