Ryan "Ickie" Fletcher can draw anything. As an award-winning custom tattoo artist, he knows the perfect way to create life-size lion heads, wearable wings, chess boards with realistic depth and dimension, and portraits. Aside from inking skin with custom designs, he offers dermal anchors and piercings—and removes tattoos that have gained sentience and must be destroyed.
The certified laser technicians at SkinRenew Laser Tattoo Removal use an FDA-approved Quanta Q-Plus C laser to gradually remove unwanted tatts. The treatments are effective on all colors of ink, and can aim to erase tattoos or merely lighten them to make way for new body art. The number of treatments required depends on the colors used, the age of the tattoo, and the type of ink used, but most can be removed within 6–12 sessions. The Quanta Q-Plus C laser is known for being highly effective yet less invasive than other laser models.
SkinRenew Laser Tattoo Removal also offers a full menu of services geared toward enhancing clients' skin. Clients can choose to target pigment inconsistencies through pigmented spot therapy, smooth and soften skin through glycolic acid peels, or exfoliate skin through dermaplaning or diamond dermabrasions. The center's signature Porcelain Doll laser facial aims to produce skin like that of its namesake through minimizing sun damage, rosacea, acne scars, and age spots, as well as stimulating collage production and promoting tissue tightening through tissue coagulation.
At SkinRenew Laser Tattoo Removal, medical skin therapist Colleen works to improve client's skin. With more than 17 years of experience in the health and wellness fields, she specializes in corrective skin therapy, and laser skin treatments, treating an array of conditions such as acneic and aging skin. She performs a variety of treatments, such as dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and intensive peels and finishes treatments with antibacterial aloe vera and anti-redness treatment.
Artist Tagger started tattooing at the age of 16. Since taking home his first convention award for a portrait of Albert Einstein inked on the foot, he's won a total of eight plaques, including several from the 2009 Chicago Body Art Expo. Though he specializes in realistic portraits, his portfolio also pops with comic-book colors, Eastern-style ornament, and stylized animals. Tagger travels to tattoo conventions to build a team of artists and piercers whom he'd trust with his own skin. In addition to drawing tattoos, the team practices sanitary body modification, paints commissioned murals, and designs logos that companies can never erase. As busy as he is, Tagger encourages clients to call him at home, day or night.
