I had a customer (a college student) on a budget and leaving to go back to college in another state. We initially gave him the bass he was looking for and sold him an amplifier and proper wires to go along with his sub. A week passed by, and the customer asked if we could put in his interior speakers. He was headed back to college and had a long drive ahead of him. We got the speakers in, gave him an awesome price, and he was very satisfied with everything that was done. I get a call the next day, and it was that customer driving on his way to college, [and he] thanked us [for making] his drive a lot better than it was than before. The power of music can raise your joy even on a 4+ hour drive. Though this college student brought in most of his equipment, we took care of him when other big retail stores would not even look at what he already had. He was on a budget. Also, this customer drove an hour away from his home to come and get his vehicle serviced. When he comes back into town, his words were, "I'm always coming to you guys!" The most important factor in a business is the ability to earn trust for future endeavors. Besides making clients happy, what do you like most about your job? The friendships that you acquire from those customers whom you made a big difference in their lives. When and how did you first develop a passion for your work? I started back in 1996, but didn't blossom until 2000 when I gained enough experience and confidence. I love customization and I'm glad I can share some of my work with the customers.
