During his frequent travels, entrepreneurship professor Bill Guerro noticed both the high cost of airport parking and the congested drop-off area at the local terminal. Noticing a vacant lot on campus, Bill wanted to marry available resources to the situation, and brought his idea to one of his classes. Students crafted a business plan for a discount airport parking service that would also benefit the community by returning profits to the students and campus of the university. Offering short- and long-term service at reasonable rates, Purchase Park 2 Fly remains an extension of the university, and Phil Sanford—one of the students in Bill's initial entrepreneurship class—continues to serve the project as marketing coordinator. Profits help support Purchase College through scholarships and capital enhancements to roadways, facilities, and gold-plated foam fingers.

Instead of using limos or town cars, which come with extravagant price tags, Uride Idrive's chauffeurs transport travelers in their own cars. After traveling to your home and helping you pack your vehicle with luggage, a chauffeur will safely shuttle you to the airport. The driving services also encompass shorter trips, such as doctor's visits, tailgating parties, or nights out on the town.
Though it began in 1981 with just one Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, today, Silver Star Limousine operates a fleet of 35 upscale vehicles that range from the antique to the exotic. Drivers can ferry a pair of passengers to a wedding in a 1932 Hupmobile, chauffeur a corporate getaway in a Mercedes Sprinter, or make a quick trip from the airport in a Lincoln Town Car. Each vehicle has been outfitted with technology to reduce its carbon footprint and can travel across the tri-state area. Stretch limos and party buses create an air of mystery for groups of up to 40 passengers, with amenities such as LED light shows, 54-inch plasma TVs, and room for dancing.
