The staff plots out storage systems, renovates garages and home offices, and designs and installs closets. As a young girl, Jody Adams delighted in sorting and rearranging her home, but it wasn't until the passing of her grandmother that her passion for organization was granted greater meaning. The discovery of attic-stowed boxes brimming with her grandmother's photos and keepsakes made Jody realize how much possessions are essentially extensions of their owners, and to leave those items in disarray makes individual life stories less evident for others. After earning two degrees and exploring various career paths, Jody found her voice as a professional organizer, surveying homes and workspaces to determine methods of reducing clutter and making life more manageable. During her organization sessions, she identifies which items are out of place, how each came to be that way, and whether it currently has a place in its owner's life. Targeted belongings are then arranged according to a long-term tidiness plan that is personalized to the individual client, and unneeded items are responsibly repurposed or basted in gravy and devoured whole.
