As parties rage on in the background, up to eight guests can slip into one of Hot Shot Photo Booth’s booths to have a high-resolution camera document the celebratory mood in the air. A professional attendant stays on hand to make sure everybody is properly huddled into the frame and perfectly lit by the booth's defused strobe lighting. In addition to unlimited photo sessions, customers opting for a standard rental receive prints marked with a custom inscription, a DVD of all photos, and a password-protected online image gallery. Extras can include props, a custom booth banner, and a personalized guestbook with custom decorations, such as stickers and decorative paper. Event hosts can also hire Hot Shots' flesh-and-blood photographer to take entrance shots, arrange group shots, and capture candid shots of partygoers grooving on the dance floor or attempting to bob for fruit in the punch bowl.

Escape curates friendly competition within its 45,000-square-foot facility, which houses massive paintball and laser-tag arenas. The faux-combat emporium houses two indoor paintball fields, including a castle-themed map in which players defend flags just like peasants did in the days of medieval paint arrowing. Ribbons of light cut through the ominous fog that hangs over the 5,000-square-foot Q-ZAR Lazertag arena, a maze-like structure illuminated by black lights and soundtracked with high-octane beats. After rounds of recreational warfare, guests can relax at Escape's arcade or tap into the building-wide wireless Internet to send an email ordering an ambush on an unsuspecting pal.
Bad Ass Margaritas livens up events with easy-to-use machines that dispense frosty, refreshing margaritas. Party hosts can choose to serve traditional margaritas or opt for flavors such as grape or cherry and other drinks such as rum runners and hurricanes, adding alcohol to make the drink as potent as they wish. The machines are also popular at children's events, where they can be used to make nonalcoholic drinks in flavors such as orange dreamsicle or pink lemonade.
The 22 acres of Morton's Warm Springs sprawls across meadows, clusters of towering oaks, and rugged rock formations surrounding a bubbling creek, immersing visitors in outdoor recreation since 1946. The site originally served as a camp for the Wappo Native Americans, who believed its mineral waters were sacred and imbued with healing properties. Today, visitors splash through these same waters in two natural pools fed by geothermal springs. Guests can also play on baseball, basketball, and sand or hard volleyball courts, and stroll along natural paths meandering beside the creek. Throughout the park, 20 indoor or outdoor picnic sites house revelers during weddings, family reunions, and school events, and many are equipped with brick or stone grills for cooking, running water for washing, and electricity for recharging robot uncles.
At Bay West Ballroom, students learn how to tango alongside their identical twin, whether they were actually born with one or not. The studio's eastern wall of mirrors stretches for 60 feet, ensuring that students’ reflections are always visible as they spin on the sprung beech-wood floor. On the opposite side, windows admit sunlight and scenic views of the hills, creating an ethereal space where seasoned instructors demonstrate ballroom, Latin, and swing dance styles. Drawing from a diverse curriculum, these instructors cover a broad spectrum of disciplines that range from the cha-cha to the country two-step, encouraging practice in both the classroom and social settings. For example, lessons on popular salsa steps prepare pupils to spin at nightclubs, and wedding courses customize choreography to match a chosen song at elegant receptions.
Directors Mark and Andrea Nelson-Novak have both earned championship titles, and Andrea draws on a degree in biology to better inform her protégés on anatomy, movement, and the location of the body’s rhythm glands. The pair enlists other experts—including US Country and Swing Champion Tony Gutsch and Grand National Latin Finalists Dima and Olga Sukachov—to helm specialized and regular classes. The team also hosts holiday parties each year.
