Young Life is a Christian ministry with branches around the world, all dedicated to a simple goal: supporting kids throughout the confusions of adolescence. That process hinges on a huge pool of adult mentors willing to hang out with kids on the kids' turf, whether that's soccer practice, the mall, or meetings of the PG-13 Movie Club. The ministry also hosts events, such as weekly parties and summer camps, where kids learn the fundamentals of Christianity along with key leadership and decision-making skills.

As the old adage says, "Stuff happens." What training do you and your staff have to stay ahead of the unexpected?
Coaches are legitimately certified to teach Parkour, holding multiple parkour certifications. We are expert momentum anticipators and course creators. We minimize risk through safety drills, multi-level skill progressions and strength milestones. [Instructors are] First Aid? and CPR-trained in case anything happens. However we have not had one serious injury in the three years we've been coaching due to our safety protocols.
What is the experience customers can expect, and how do you make it special?
Through our classes students can expect to experience life-changing techniques. Ranging from the simple truths of how to squat sustainably to how to traverse lava while having fun and collecting speed and style points.
The rivalry between Ducks fans and Beavers fans is built right into the Ducks vs. Beavers Rivalry Clash's race course. Supporters of the two teams, decked out in their most spirited gear, kick off the chip-timed race at separate starting lines, and begin the race by running straight towards each like old armies. Instead of a head-on collision, the two groups funnel into a single mass, sharing a race course as they vie for the fastest times on the 5K or 10K route. The speediest school wins a donation to their university's laptop scholarship program, plus the right to refer to their rival school as "our satellite campus."
Regardless of the results, everyone buries the hatchet at a tailgate-style afterparty, where entertainment ranges from a tug-of-war to the most beloved of collegiate pastimes: a flip-cup tournament. The flip-cup games, as well as corn-hole and other competitive events, give racers a chance to earn more glory for their schools. There are also awards for the fastest individuals, the team of five with the lowest combined time, and the school with the lowest overall score (as determined by the sum of the top 100 runners' places).
Color Me Rad stages 5K races that transform runners into mobile rainbows by launching cheerful barrages of colored cornstarch. Each color station along the racetrack flings a new, nontoxic pigment at passersby, who wear white shirts to enhance the chromatic onslaught's costuming effects. Brilliant neon-blue, green, purple, and yellow clouds dapple participants along the way, and the race concludes with a prismatic finish-line finale as sprinters chuck colors at each other in celebration. The race's noncompetitive credo shifts the emphasis from speed to silliness, and a portion of its proceeds go to local charities.
Upon registration, each runner collects a Color Me Rad T-shirt, sunglasses, sponsor gifts, and a race bib. Though they don't receive a gift packet, runners younger than 8 years old can sprint for free, provided they have a waiver signed by a guardian and won't give in to demands for gold from confused leprechauns.

This was the dream of US Army vet Mark Daniels, to draw together his talent for personal training and his military experience to help others get fit. Virtually all of his trainers bear a military background, made evident by the workouts that use military techniques that helped soldiers the world over prepare for battle. Contrary to expectations, these instructors keep students motivated without screaming, yelling, or the use of fire. No two workouts are exactly alike, which helps students stay interested, and they take place in almost any kind of weather.
