Founded by a professional player and made up of four fields, Route 40 Paintball Park is the perfect place to get serious about the sport. The referees kickoff every splatter session with a safety orientation to ensure everyone is playing fair and by the rules. Once the competition begins, the ref makes judgment calls when necessary. And players can look the part, too, by renting camouflage jumpsuits to help them better blend in while they duck behind barricades. Of course, the primary objective here is fun, so the facility welcomes first-time shooters, and encourages guests to bring snacks.
Across Paintball Adventure Park's 36 acres and 8 fields, adrenaline-packed moments occur every Saturday and Sunday. Their three woodsball fields present a jungle-warfare-like environment, whereas the Village centers around a two-story wooden castle with elevated bridges, watchtowers, and paint-breathing dragons. Other battlegrounds challenge players' tactical skills as they maneuver through obstacles to flank the opposition and take the hill, or slip through the tight quarters of the six airball fields. Before battles, paintballers can also gear up at the shop with everything from paintball markers to protective gear.
Warriors duck and weave through rainbow-colored obstacles, huge wooden spools, and thickets of trees, all to evade opposing players shooting at them with high-powered paint markers. The farm grounds transform into Torrid Paintball Sports' battlefield, where players engage in scenario games and tournaments with the latest markers and gear.
