Anytime Fitness, which boasts 1,689 clubs in North America, makes it easier for average folks to etch out time for exercise by doing one simple thing: staying open 24 hours a day for 365 days a year. As fitness seekers challenge themselves on cardio and Hammer Strength machines and hoist Iron Grip free weights in clean, well-stocked facilities, security monitoring ensures they’re safe and producing enough sweat to meet official government standards. Members can also ramp up their exercise regimens with the help of Anytime Fitness’s staff of personal trainers, who demonstrate moves and sling motivating tips. After workouts, guests can shower in the private restrooms or hop into one of the tanning booths available 24 hours a day.

Ahva Halma began her love affair with dance early in life, shortly after trading in her footie pajamas for a tutu and ballet slippers. As a young lady, she made her first foray into the world of Latin movement by studying flamenco, a journey she continues to this day in her Zumba workshops. Ahva’s commitment to sharing the fun and fitness-building benefits of dance led her to earn seven types of Zumba teaching certifications. As a registered nurse, she’s equally enthusiastic about women’s health. This is why Ahva additionally teaches Pilates and yoga courses with an emphasis on pre- and postnatal techniques.

Dynamic Martial Arts specializes in jujitsu, a Japanese martial art grounded in Samurai tradition. Since it doesn't do much good to hit an armored opponent and takes all night to seduce them out of their armor, schools of jujitsu place the most emphasis on throwing, joint manipulation, ground locks, and using an opponent's energy against them. DMA will tutor you in all these aspects. And since jujitsu involves getting thrown as much as it does getting to throw others, DMA's senseis also teach you the vital art of falling down without hurting yourself. In addition to unarmed fighting, DMA offers a traditional Japanese weapons class twice weekly, which is under the strict safety supervision of DMA's highly trained instructors rather than some guy in a trench coat clutching a toy lightsaber.
