Smiling Bright returns lost glows to smiles around the country with the X Cell Erator Professional Teeth Whitening System for use in a private home setting. After ordering online, customers will receive a battery-powered LED light and a mouth tray pre-filled with carbamide peroxide gel, which refracts the light into the teeth to brighten them up to 5 shades and 20 IQ points. Vitamin E swabs included in the kit may dispense their luminescent properties over mouth rocks before and after the treatment. Approximately 20 minutes later, after everything is illuminated, customers may weight their results using a whitening guide that measures the movement of dental hues across a spectrum of shades. The LED whitening light remains operable for future use with whitening tray refills, or to render an RC station wagon a legal tollway vehicle by serving as functioning taillights.
The burgeoning singers of the New York Opera Exchange team up with members of the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra to present “An Evening of Scenes and Arias,” a showcase of excerpts from famous operas penned by artists including Puccini, Mozart, and Donizetti. Supertitles accompany each uvula-rattling performance, ensuring that audiences can follow euphonic gems such as Mimi’s Italian dialogue and emotional aria from La Boheme and the Queen of the Night's menacing, German aria from Die Zauberflöte. The January 28 performance is followed up by a reception where art appreciators can reflect on memorable vocal performances and swap opera trading cards. Peruse the ensemble’s website for a gallery of singing Viking helmets and a full listing of performance pieces.

A group of more than 50 podiatrists across the world have one thing in common, besides podiatry: they received training from Dr. Dean Spellman, a 25-year veteran who tends to the foot-oriented needs of clients of all ages. In addition to holding positions at several hospitals and surgical centers, Dr. Spellman serves as one of two podiatrists at Family Foot Care—a well-established podiatric center with locations throughout the New York City area. And when he’s not helping patients regain the pep in their step, Spellman takes the time to work with youth soccer teams to ensure all participants can run, kick, and victoriously prance with ease.

Babies are grownups in training, meaning they need help eating without slobbering, speaking without babbling, and moving around without getting hurt. Romparoo helps out with the latter, with an indoor play space for kids aged 6 months to 3 years. The entire room, from floor to about child height, is padded, so kids can practice crawling, creeping, and toddling without bruising themselves or getting a ticket for jaywalking. Mommy-and-Me classes use music to transition between activities that help develop motor skills as well as socialization, and parents of toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years drop their brood off for two-hour classes that give them the independence to transition to preschool.
