Guided by the watchful eyes of master falconer Kate Marden, West Coast Falconry introduces avian enthusiasts to eagle owls, falcons, and hawks through an apprentice course, educational demonstrations, and aerial displays of predatory birds hunting. Various excursions give small groups of participants up-close interaction with the birds, enabling them to explore natural avian habitats and observe the predatory birds in flight, hunting, and while picking up their dry cleaning. Gloved game chasers can also try casting and calling owls, hawks, and falcons to and from their fists.
Homes across Sacramento got a lot more organized in 1999, at least when it came to their closets. The Closet Doctor opened its doors, and ever since the first client at the end of the 20th century, its designers have transformed cluttered spaces into organized havens. The designers remodel closets of all sizes, from small reach-ins to full-size dressing rooms. Each makeover starts with a consultation to suss out the homeowner's needs. The designer works with customers on potential designs using a 3D rendering program.
The computer program virtually alters the space: Cluttered racks become wood shelves with concealed European-style hinges, and piles of clothing disappear into the drawers of closet organization systems. The Closet Doctor's premier system, the Sienna Collection, fills spaces with maple, cherry, and white oak shelves handcrafted in a Green-certified facility.
With this approach, the designers can also outfit closets to double as guest rooms with the addition of Murphy beds. They also tackle what is arguably a home's largest closet: the garage. Here, they install oversize closets and storage bins that can hold everything from holiday decorations to retired robot butlers from the '80s.

They also rent out photo booths, letting party guests document every exciting moment.
When renowned course architects Billy Casper and Greg Nash were asked to design Timber Creek Golf Course, they envisioned a 27-hole golf destination that would stretch across 178 acres of rolling terrain. With fairways partitioned by 200-year-old heritage oak trees and 142 sand traps peppered across the course, the Timber Creek course presents an obstacle-laden 6,500-yard layout for clubbers of all abilities. Lakes and waterfalls also come into play on both the front nine of the 18-hole Timber Creek course and the nine-hole Sierra Pines course, adding scenic challenges and making the courses navigable by golf carts or golf bags that inflate into hovercrafts. A staff led by two PGA instructors presides over Timber Creek’s golf academy, where golfers can hone their tee-to-green skills in lessons and clinics. Days that start on the dew-kissed fairways can end at Timbers at the Lodge, where mahogany-hued wood paneling surrounds guests as they dine on beer-battered cod filets, veal marsala, new-york steaks, and more from an eclectic dinner menu.
BounceU transports kids to an inflatable, climate-controlled playground, where they can bounce from side to side in a safe, secure environment. Children can practice for future careers as catapult payloads during adrenaline-pumping birthday parties, with options such as private bounce rooms and glow-in-the-dark accessories, or they can play during open bounce sessions throughout the week.
Adults are welcome to act like 8-year-olds and join the vivacious youngsters in the playground, where they can duel with the foam-shooting equipment or mount the climbing structures while imagining they're synchronized leapers in Michael Flatley's Riverbounce. The attentive BounceU staff will monitor the rebounding playground at all times, ensuring the facilities are safe and clean.
