Formerly the Lingerie Football League, the Legends Football League stands as the "fastest-growing pro sports league in the nation" according to NBC Sports correspondent Rick Chandler. That success owes much to the league's unique format, which pits two exclusively female teams in alluring uniforms against each other in full-contact football games on a 50-yard field. Donning football pads and helmets over their revealing performance wear, the female athletes block, juke, and sprint uninhibited by such frivolous gear as the NFL's heavy chainmail hauberks.
The brand new Jacksonville Destroyers vie for dominance in the United Soccer League Premier Development League (PDL)—the top U-23 men's league in North America, featuring 64 teams within four conferences across the United States and Canada. Led by head coach Eric Dutt, players from all around the world, including forward Kareem Yearwood, midfielder Stefan Durr, and goalie Doug Parra compete against other elite collegiate players for a chance to shine brighter than the oiled pecs of a buff glowworm. Tear off stomach-constraining jerseys to chow down on tasty stadium fare from Sun Dog Diner and practice accurate flip throws with frothy, chilled beers (costs not included with today's Groupon) while cheering on the Destroyers in their inaugural season as they take on Central Florida, Fort Lauderdale, and Bradenton in the remaining home games.

Pro Tip: Learning to "run" your gun refers to safe, confident, and effective gun management.
What is one of your signature services? How is it performed?
[We offer] personalized instruction for safe, confident, and effective gun management for in-the-home protection and while carrying a concealed weapon in public. [It's] easy instruction that recognizes the students' limits and adjusts the type of firearm to their capabilities, strengths, and lifestyles. We work with seniors, women, groups, businesses, and clubs and offer a course for their needs.
Besides making clients happy, what do you like most about your job?
The surprised look that people have when they are challenged with a moving target and hit it every time. The confidence people get when safely making the right decisions during scenario drills. The ease of the course and ability to adjust it to the student's needs that I have developed for home, office, or classroom settings.
What aspect of your job, or the services you offer, most often surprises people?
How our classes can be used toward their CCW hours and they can complete the CCW requirements with us and our specialized training. How the drills without using live ammunition can be practiced in the privacy of their own homes.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Most firearms instructors only offer a concealed-carry class that covers an overview of firearms. We teach people how to use the gun before or after taking the certification for concealed carry. Our classes are hands-on drills that teach instruction of safe, competent, and effective firearm management.
At Kona Skate Park, smooth concrete undulates, dips, and banks like a frozen ocean. Skaters navigate those contours armed with helmets and bags of tricks such as kickflips and ollies. After zigging and zagging around cement bowls and valleys, they grab some air on the ramps and half-pipes. Street skating obstacles such as low wooden boxes and steps provide opportunity for slick grinds and rail slides.
The park opened in the late 1970s, and all of its elements, including the verts protruding from the concrete basins, are infused with history. Kona Skate Park was the original meeting place for legends such as Tony Alva and Rodney Mullen, and today it's the site of burgeoning skateboarders. To nurture the talents of those future stars, instructors lead lessons and camps geared toward kids of all skill levels.
Up to 22 gas-powered go-karts at a time can hug the twists and turns of Skate Station Funworks' more than 800-foot track. While the go-kart course is the park's longest attraction, it's not the tallest?that honor goes to the indoor rock-climbing wall. Besides climbing and driving, fun at Skate Station ranges from hitting homers in batting cages to putting balls past a landlocked airboat on the swamp-themed mini-golf course. Children aged 10 or younger can explore the three levels of the Kid's Adventure soft play space, whereas guests of all ages can compete in classic games such as air hockey at the arcade. All these attractions share a home with Skate Station's namesake, an indoor roller-skating rink where visitors can groove to Top 40 hits or learn skating fundamentals during lessons.
The staff at Cave Country Dive Shop is comprised of cave and technical divers who continually add to their combined decades of experience. They bring an abundance of credentials to the metaphorical table, including NACD cave diver certification and training from the U.S. Navy. This unity of experience and training manifests itself as teaching prowess as the team makes use of numerous springs and underwater caves for conducting all levels of PADI & DSAT scuba programs. Classes head out to open waters found at locales such as Santa Fe River or Ginnie Springs to explore crystal-clear springs and sinkholes with 80-100 feet of visibility and approximately 72-degree waters year round. The aquatic experts teach equipment functions and other essential scuba knowhow in one of two onsite classrooms, further prepping students for real diving conditions by being filled with water, oysters, and taffy.
In addition to instruction, Cave County delivers air from high-volume and high-pressure compressors that are routinely monitored and maintained. Equipment upgrades hang from the walls or virtual window displays online.
