Acupuncture uses tiny needles to redirect the body's energy, which is a better use for needles than sewing yourself into a sleeping bag forever. Feel better with this Groupon.

$30 for Two Acupuncture Treatments (Up to $75 Value)

During an acupuncture treatment that lasts about 40–60 minutes and includes an assessment, a licensed acupuncturist uses very thin, disposable needles in an attempt to regulate the flow of bodily energy and stimulate innate healing mechanisms. The recommended frequency of treatment varies depending on individual conditions. Guest should wear comfortable clothing that can be raised to their elbows and knees. This deal includes the $5 administrative fee for new patients.

Costa Acupuncture

At Costa Acupuncture, licensed acupuncturists and herbalists Michael Costa, Carol Song, and Sun Cho exercise their talents and experience to make holistic healing more attainable for the community at large. Founder Michael Costa has a master's degree in oriental medicine and a background in helping patients struggling with addictions, and Song and Cho are board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Song is an active doula and yoga instructor, and coproduced a DVD series on enhancing fertility. Cho's interest in acupuncture began in adolescence when her uncle introduced her to Korean hand-acupuncture techniques, which are believed to create more realistic-looking shadow puppets.

The team addresses a variety of conditions, ranging from digestive, respiratory, and musculoskeletal maladies to emotional concerns. During sessions, clients relax on a table or in a recliner behind a privacy screen in a softly lit, open room. This type of community setting allows friends or family members to receive services together and fosters a sense of collective healing. The caring crew also promotes better health with cupping treatments and herbal and nutritional supplements.

The Groupon Guide to: Shapes

Like calculus and the names of U.S. presidents tragically killed by their own horses, many facts we learn during childhood fall out of our brains during adulthood. This handy guide will help you refamiliarize yourself with one of the fundamentals of your education, the Three Shapes:

Square
Resembles: An individual segment of sidewalk
Real-World Examples: Pizza boxes, No-Left-Turn signs, and metaphorical pegs that represent gifted children who still get bad grades
Usefulness Ranking: 6

Circle
Resembles: An individual segment of snowman
Real-World Examples: Pizzas, wedding invitations that you want to stand out, and Earth’s moon
Apply Your Knowledge: How many circles does the Target logo contain? Don’t answer too quickly!

Triangle
Resembles: An individual segment of birthday cake
Real-World Examples: Pizza slices, shark teeth, and the visible portion of the mostly-buried spaceships that came to Ancient Egypt but were unable to collect enough psychomagnesium to reopen the ConceptGate and return to the Thoughtworld
A Celebrity Shape? The Bermuda Triangle, discovered in the 1950s, is so named because it is shaped like a bikini bottom.
